This demo was put on with the help of Studio Aquatic, a great company specializing in Wabi Kusa. This is a style of plant care that is half aquascaping, half house plant. It's a great way to introduce new people to the planted aquarium hobby and is a easy style of houseplant to keep alive-just keep on top of your water levels!

Special thanks to Jack for showing me the ropes, Tropica for donating plants, and my friend Gabriel for lending his camera and suggesting this collaboration!

I keep seeing, and hearing about, these, but not seeing a real explanation, as to how to make one, or what all they could be used for, so they were just okay... I wasn't even aware, I could transplant these to fully aquatic growth! Thanks... I totally want one now! Great video!

Can you use this wabi kusa technique to create a moss ball. So grow only moss, and around the entire surface?

I really think this a cool idea, could these wabi-kusa be also used in a tropical vivarium. I have been transitioning plants to use in my vivariums and this would be a great idea to use in nearly planted vivariums to make the look established quickly
