Did you catch this in Knives Out Glass Onion? A blink-and-you'll-miss-it allusion to Tom Cruise and the 1999 Paul Thomas Anderson film Magnolia is one of the movie's most bizarre moments. A group of people gathers to discuss their positive goals around 80 minutes into the film. In the sequence, Miles Bron runs into a number of people, including Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr., and Kathryn Hahn. But, that's not what is strange. His attire is entirely strange. For those who have seen Bron's outfit in the Tom Cruise movie, a black leather vest over a red velvet shirt with the top buttons undone and long black hair will be oddly recognizable.
