I didn’t know about the extra defender dice with the wall. My first time I played this map, I thought it acted as a blizzard and couldn’t be attacked over but I quickly learned that was not the case and just thought it was a gimmick.

Great game, I would definitely make my card blocking stacks a bit bigger if I know my enemies always get lucky dice.
Then again, I am not a world champion because such a play means that at the crucial moment I would have too many locked troops unavailable to attack with.
I was thinking the same thing, specifically on 10 v 12. 23% blitz roll is a bit higher than I want them to have. One good manual then it's 45%. I think I would opt for 13 or 14 just to be safer. Top GM's can tell me I'm wrong though. I think the 6/12 troops is worth it though at 100+ troop trades.
I should have made them a bit bigger yeah.. it just feels bad when I make them oversized and then someone trades and knocks them all out and I lose way more troops lol

I have a feeling that newer players get good dice purposefully by the game (to entice new players to play more, kind of like TikTok algorithm does when you create a new account). I can’t prove it though.

I think a lot of botouts you see are connection or other technical issues, rather than actual quits. I can think of a couple videos where your opponents DCd then re-Cd then DCd and re-Cd again a couple times. And in this case white had *just* learned how to card block too, I struggle to think it was an actual quit. (Either that, or white also realized that they would lose the 1v1 and wouldn't get third anyways, but especially the timing of it makes me think it was technical DC, not a quit.)

If you really wanted that 3 dice v 4 dice cap roll to happen you should have buffed the 140 cap more and kept Gansu cap around half of Blue's cap, then I think Blue would have suicided on the 4 dice cap rather than the other cap.

Guan is a geographical area in China. Guan Dong is actually two word in Chinese, Dong being east and Guangxi is Xi being the word West. So literally Guan East and Guan West. LiangGuan the territory here means Liang (Two) so means the Two Guan, west and east.

It would be cool if you could customize the number of dices for every game.
I grew up with the "european" version of risk where defense always gets 3 dices, so it's much harder to gain territory.

As far as I can recall, they all just form a strange split bonus no one ever holds.
