Audio quality was good. As for the video, it was not bad for the price. But there are better cameras in this budget price bracket, like the Akaso and Campark. 👍 Nice video.
Yeah, Akaso have stepped up their game and their devices are really good.
This is the best review of the AC920. Thank you! Kept me from buying the AC940 (currently $80) and am thinking of springing for the Osmo Action.

P.S. Osmo Action is a far better choice in my opinion.
Currently at around $60 on Amazon, worth a shot so I pulled the trigger it has more options than the 4K Maginon or the older mrcool I had.

i think im going to pull the trigger. it's currently $100 - $40 coupon off right now. Not too shabby for $60. I don't mind not having the 60fps, but it does look better than the campark v30 you review.

I’ve send back some cams because of various reasons, but on budget cameras I think you have to let some features. The Victure AC700 loses the time/date when you change the battery. Nobody tells you this. The seller? ...no way! As you and another one mentioned in a comment, marketing only helps to sell. I was looking on amazon at a Crosstour cam and couldn’t find out what is the model on sale. Honestly, I’m tired to buy and send back the stuffs 😊. Seems that I have to buy 5-6 cams, test them, keep one and send the others back 😊
Well, I just ordered an AC940 at about 80€, here in Europe. I’m concerning about it’s weight as I intend to mount it on the bicycle/ motorbike helmet/handlebar. On motorbike is even possible to mount it on a 3-4” long support. I will see and decide.
Do you know if this or any budget cam is able to take shots while filming? I think I saw this on a Crosstour, but not sure.
Can the cam be started up via remote?
At this AC920 I like the frame. Is kind of quick release and I find it better(=faster) than the wrap style one. On the bike/motorbike I don’t think that is wise to use it without the waterproof case, even the bare waterproof AC940, because the lens can be scratched from stones, branches or whatever. Am I wrong?
Do you know if the AC940 is able to film upside down? Otherwise the frame of AC920 is better because you can mount it also from above. And the mount is centered 😉.
I’m telling and asking you these from the perspective of bike riding where vibrations are often involved.
A, I saw in another vid on YT an AC920 with a tripod mount. Is this a newer version?! Because, again, on amazon I couldn’t find out. You have to purchase it first 😁

Hey Robert - thanks for the detailed use case.
Honestly - if I were you, I'd go for the DJI Osmo Action. Even a second-hand camera should be fine. It is a lot heavier, but get a mount and you will like it a lot. Just both Osmo Action and GoPro are in a different league about stabilization.
So yeah - GoPro would also work. 6, 7, 8 - all of them will do fine with stabilization.

This seems like a good camera for someone who doesn’t really know the difference between the different frame rates and all the technology. Myself included. I just found it on sale for $69.99. I hope it’s ok for me.

Purchased the camera. Unfortunately, not able to use it. The User Manual too small to read & I've not been able to locate instructions anywhere.
Front button is the on and off button. The top one is the shutter. The rest you can control from the display. Try the different settings and you will get used to it.

Honestly, some footage here looked really nice, obviously not the 60FPS, seems like that one is an oversampled 1080p lol
Hahah, true that - the 30FPS looks pretty good. Sunplus chipsets are usually bad about 60FPS.
There is any budget action cam with pal fps??

I remember seeing the option with some of the EKEN cameras. Firefly 8S series used to have it as far as I remember.
