Excellent rendition of Carnatic music concert by eminent and ever growing musician of our times with great devotion and dedication as well as perfection and proficiency deserving admiration and encouragement by Carnatic music lovers all over to relish and enrich The choice of songs ragas and their sequences highly appreciable
what a delightful concert. RKM touches the soul, with his old world style of rendering the krithis. Spell binding Pantu varali and Ananda Bhairavi stood out
A magnificent rendering of the kritis. The 2nd caranam of "O Jagadamba" was simply superb. I heard this 2nd caranam for the 1st time and loved it. I am now repeatedly hearing it. RKM is a highly gifted and blessed artist. I wish him the very best in spreading happiness through Carnatic music.
The beauty of Ananda Bharavi is lost because of the tempo in which he is singing. Ananda Bharavi has to be slower to bring out it's depth. Technically singing is not desirable at all. Ananda Bharavi sung property puts you to sleep .. something like a lullaby. I don't mean to be harsh about the veneered Artist. He is going for speed ; result is Music is lost. The sahitya bhavam becomes a casuality.
@@shankarathreya1899 not enough to justify the greatness of Tamil. Music is beyond language , but for emotional connection should have included Tamil keerthanai ad one of the major item with alapana, neraval and Swarans. Being a Tamil, he should have. Uplift Tamil from Thukkada, javali ,padam or hurriedly sung Thiruppugazh.
Music has no langauge, I could say he could have selected purandaradaasa, but ultimate expression is in bhaava I believe, it should not be langauge. With all due respect to you!
Please keep in mind this isn't done for a primary audience of tamil speaking people, but rather several american college clubs that are interested in the Indian classical art forms. As such he has presented many songs that are considered classics within the art form and covered the trinity composers that have essentially made and defined the art form what it is today, for the main pieces. If this were for some sabha in Chennai it could make more sense to cover more tamizh pieces, but it wasn't.
@@akshaysridhar121 so what difference it would have made to the audience if a major krithi was in Tamil. Chennai audiences promote all language songs. If language is not a major issue, then he could have sung a major Tamil keerthanai.

Should have done Justice to Tamil keerthanais. Disappointing
the javali in sahana is as tamizh as it can get. A classic sung by Bombay sisters.
