That didn’t look too bad. I noticed you didn’t have the foam air filter around the the canister. I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the foam goes.

Hmmm I suppose mine never had one as I got is used. I sold that machine a while back so unfortunately I'm not able to point you in the right direction for getting that foam situated. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your experience with this job in the comments. Cheers

It gets folded a bit then stuffed up and the end of the air filter cylinder. It’s there to absorb any over flow oil. Manual says to clean it if your sled has been on its left side 3 times or more.

MY 08. Got to 5600 hard miles and was JUNK! Had 11 600 when I finally sold it in 2012. I had 50 grand into the sled by then keeping it going. Was fun when it was going. The Engine mounts as a pain. They allow the clutches under heavy load to missalinge and roast your belt ever 300 miles. Turbo bearing issues, Chain case bearing thats so odd.. I had to go to an industrial bearing place to order one. Polaris dealer couldn't even get it. Over heat issues.. Speed sensor wet toast. Wiring that would randomly crazy and brake inbehind the engine. No wonder these sleds and the 900 almost bankrupt Polaris.

Yeah there's something about a four stroke turbo that seems just a little on the complex side for a sled, and of course with complexity comes additional issues and repairs. They are fun while they are going though that's true. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share your experience in the comments, cheers

I know, was surprised at what a pain that was, most sleds plugs are way easy and right on top. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Cheers

You never mentioned what spark plugs you used.

Apologies, the parts store was out of stock that day, but I like to run NGK Iridium plugs. Although I believe I read that Polaris suggests a Champion RC7PYBX plug for this four stroke turbo. thanks for watching and advising I forgot that crucial bit of info, cheers
