I am inlove with how this soap makes me feel. Takes me to the ocean. I can hear the crashing of the waves, the smell of the sea breeze. I want this soap so bad. Im watching this video over and over.
Dear Soy and Shea, This has to be one of the best soap tutorials I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. Thank you for sharing it with everyone. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Sincerely, Mrs. Kathryn S.
Ocean Breeze is one of my favorite scents for bubble bath. The shell embeds are so delicate and gorgeous! The soap looks like slices out of the ocean, awesome job Keeley!! I totally love everything about this soap!!
I love your ITP swirl! Your blue shade range was perfectly oceanic. What did your friend think of the soaps? Can I ask how you coloured the pretty salt, please? Or do you buy it pre coloured?
Thank you for your lovely comments. My friend loved the soaps as did her guests 😊 To colour the salts I put some mica in a bowl and a little rubbing alcohol. I have 100% but I would say anything 91% and up will do the trick. I then mix in my salt. Once its coated I leave the salt to dry. The higher the % the quicker it will dry.
May I ask what colors you used to make your shells. I have looked all over and your shells are the most natural and realistic I have seen. Please share your shell secrets. Awesome job.
I've been trying to remember all day what I used for these and I honestly can't remember as I made this quite some time ago. I think it was a really pale pink with a little gold but I can't remember which ones sorry.
I saw someone do melt and pour over the top of soap and the shapes all melted overnight during the saponification process. How did you avoid this from happening? Did you just let it sit on the counter or refrigerate it, or did you cover it? Would really love to know. It sure turned out beautifully perfect. I loved the colors you used. You always have such wonderful ideas.
The embeds on these are cold process soap. I haven't used Melt and Pour for embeds for a long time but when you do you have to make sure your soap doesn't gel or overheat
Hello! I just love how this soap turned out and am going to try to re-create it. Would you be willing to share the percentages you used for the different color portions, like what % of the batter the sand, uncolored, and 3 ocean colors were of the whole batter? Thank you!
Thank you! I am happy for your to take inspiration and create something similar. I am not able to give you percentages as I don't measure anything and eyeball it every time I make the soap.
Thank you 🧼 I made this soap so long ago that I honestly don't remember. When I do remakes, the scent always changes but it is always an ocean themed scent.
Beautiful bars! I was a bit confused when you were making the base cuz what I heard was that you were adding 'just a little bit of hummous' and I went "What?", so I waited. 'Pumice' makes much more sense in context. Gotta get those hearing aids soon. Hahaha
Absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing! I have a question: have this soap gone through the gel phase, I’m curious about colors, they are perfectly vibrant ? Also, how did you prevent soda ash?
I don't usually force gel my soaps but in summer, my workshop can get warm so I think that helps them set. I am yet to work out the soda ash thing 😆 sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't
This is beautiful! It's inspired me to try and do something similar myself - it would be my first in the pot swirl.. roughly what proportions of white to coloured soap batter did you use? Thank you
In the pot swirls are so much fun. I honestly can't remember the portions as it was made so long ago. I tend to go with whatever feels right at the time
Hi, so wonderful ur beach soap, inspiring me a lot, may I ask what mica colorant do you use for embed shell, bcos it looks like a real, thankyou in advance

Oh wow! Where did you find the sea shell mold?
I've had them for years now. Try googling seashell molds. I'm sure they'll come up on Amazon or eBay
Great video. Well done. I just subscribed.
Thanks Dean. Love your work too. Been watching you under my personal account for a while now 🧡

Really beautiful soap. Keep it up. I am one of your new subscriber from India.
Thank you for watching and supporting me ❤
Awesome 😍😍😍

amazing
Thank you 🧡
Thankyou so much for your vid. And posting links. Im aussie and looking for soap cutter. Bendigo not too far for a nice drive.
Thank you 🧡 I love my single cutter from Pure Delights. Just be sure to contact them before driving over as they're custom made 😊

😆 hummus would definitely be an interesting addition 😆 thanks for watching
I definitely heard hummus too lol
Ahh my favorite scents are ocean
Definitely something calming about an ocean smell.
Beautiful soap@
Question: I heard that Epsom salt sweats in soap and is not usable. What's your verdict?
Thank you ❤ I've not added Epsom inside my soaps due our humidity but the few I sprinkle on my soaps have never caused me issues
This is so pretty😍😍😍
Thank you ❤
What do I add to my vegetable glycine soap to get rid of the film it leaves on the body? I already add coconut oil for the lather and olive oil.
I don't really deal too much with glycerin soap sorry so can't help with that

@@SoyandShea Then I shall do the same!! Thanks for taking the time to reply.
OMG so freaking beautiful 😍🤩
But I didn't see you spraying it with alcohol .. Do you not spray with alcohol on top for soda ash?
Thank you 🧡 sometimes I spray them off camera but I find not all of the soaps need spraying so I only do ones I think will ash
@@SoyandShea Well is super cute 😍
Hi, so wonderful ur beach soap, inspiring me a lot, may I ask what mica colorant do you use for embed shell, bcos it looks like a real, thankyou in advance
Thank you 🐚 I used a tiny amount of gold plus a little vintage rose
@@SoyandShea Wow thankyou for ur reply, But I think it bit a hard to find vintage rose
@@dinaong8957 it's a dusky pink
@@SoyandShea ok noted will find out that color, thanks for ur information
Where did you get your soap stamp, I am having a hard time finding one?
I got mine from Bebe Collection
Thank you 😊💓
I just ordered some little molds like that but can I use cold process to make the shells?
Your soap is just gorgeous!!!
Thank you 🧡 you sure can use CP soap. In fact, this weekends video is a remake of this soap and I make the shells with cold process soap
@@SoyandShea of no way! What perfect timing. I'll be looking forest forward to it. Thank you for telling me. Have a blessed day!
How are the shell’s made??
These were made with melt and pour soap in a mould
#soapgoals ❤️
How do you color your sea salts?
I rarely colour sea salt as it causes too many issues with staining.
What is the ration of titanium dioxide and gold mica for the sand please? 💕
I've shared that in another video. You can watch here ua-cam.com/video/ePudwTIxdSI/v-deo.html
@@SoyandShea oh thank you so much !
@@SoyandShea hey sorry but it looks like you linked the same video and not another one ..
@relaxation-Corner when I'm clicking on the link, it's bringing up the remake video. Same soap design, but I show how I make the colour.
@@SoyandShea I tried again and it's working now 😊 thank you!
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. I am so going to do this in cake! lol! :-D xx
Thank you. That would look amazing as a cake ❤
Where did you get your cutter?
Unfortunately the person I got mine from has closed down 😔
@@SoyandShea that's horrible. Well thank you so much for your reply.
