@@sportstalkonly1442 I did leave turnovers off, and that was my mistake. But if we went down the list, there’s way more checkmarks in Jordan’s favor than there are in LeBron’s (even counting assists). I don’t know who came up with the notion that LeBron faces tougher competition. The teams Jordan beat on average had more wins than the teams LeBron beat. The Warriors with KD may be the only exception but that’s not the only team he faced. And let’s not forget that the Eastern conference was very weak when LeBron led his team to the finals early on. Which is why it was dubbed the “Leastern Conference”. And the stats on clutch shots are not wrong. But don’t take my word for it do the research yourself. I speak on facts and not emotion.
@CurtisT1019 dude regular season wins prove nothing. Most teams that have been to the finals excluding lockout seasons have won 50 and 60 games. The difference is the spurs and warriors are historical teams with multiple playoff and finals records for win percentages and dominance. The teams Jordan faced are and were not historical unless you're talking about the 80s. And when he did face teams on that level he lost. So you can call the Eastern conference that lebron played in weak because he went to 8 straight finals but Jordan's eastern conference wasn't weak when he went to 6 in 8 years and without him his team won 55 games and made it to game 7 of the ecsf? Lebron didn't play against mental abuse or assault and battery. He wasn't choked or body slammed in a live game. He cries about every little bump. In 20 years of playing in the NBA his body didn't take much damage or punishment. This contributed to him being able to play longer cause his body didn't take abuse. Let's be honest. Along with new age medicine and performance enhancing drugs.
You wanna talk about crying? Jordan complained to the commissioner about physicality. I've seen Marcus Morris literally grab Lebron with two hands and try to drag him down. I've seen Lebron block a 7 footer at the apex of his dunk. They aren't physical with him because they can't be. He's stronger than them.
What a short sighted take. Most basketball injuries are soft tissue injuries. The reason these injuries have increased is because due to the space on the court you have to cover way more ground leading to injury. The game was so slow in the 90s still feeding the post and standing still. There was not nearly the amount of movement. Sports science tells us that the increased space leads to a far more physically demanding style due to the pace. The fact that lebron has been able to play in multiple eras with multiple styles of play. If you really know the game it’s so much more to the conversation than physicality. Also to act like Bron couldn’t play in a physical league is a hilariously short sighted take. @@CurtisT1019 notice how you mentioned turnovers but you didn't mention the assists difference and the fact that lebron has a better assist to turnover ratio while being a way better passer. Lebron missed the playoffs winning more games. Jordan was able to make the playoffs with a 30-52 record. Lebron didn't make the playoffs until he led his team to 50 wins in his third season. Oh not to mention the stats on clutch shots is wrong and jordan played way weaker competition. Yall are disingenuous.
Tank is preaching right now!
Acting like a handcheck is gonna affect a 6’9 265 pound dude is wild to me there was no athlete in the league that would have been able to withstand his first step and power. Ole Johnny is 8-0. The offensive force off the bench or starting that lead the dynastic Celtics to all 8. Early in his career he was akin to Jordan Poole role on Warriors 22’ team but better at everything but the 3 ball.
Then in the late 60’s-70’s he sat in captains seat. His career is a unique mix.
Played like Pippen with elite perimeter shooting/scoring, early career was early Kobe-esque, late career MJ/Kobe-esque.
John’s game rose in the playoffs.
8x Champ 1x FMVP (likely 4x)
18. Giannis Antetokounmpo - it’s getting freaky… GreekMan is literally on the ride to potentially threatening Tim’s best PF title.
If he can add a couple more rings to his already HOF profile he will likely be the new PF or TOP 5 player. Yea. THAT GOOD.
1x Champ 1x FMVP 2x MVP 1x DPOY
19. Jerry West - The LOGO. Steph Curry before Steph. The man that built the LA franchise along Baylor post Mikan era.
Jerry West was the blueprint skill base for players like Kobe, MJ, TMac, etc
At 6’2-6’3 he torched his opponents his entire career and dropped plenty of dimes.
The ORIGINAL combo guard. So damn great he LOST and still won FMVP… case closed.
1x Champ 1x FMVP
20. Nikola Jokic - the Joker is no damn joke.
Genuinely a candidate for potential GOAT if his career pans out in the extreme positive like that of the top 10. Jokic is in a unique place being the greatest passing big statically NBA history (excluding Magic).
If Jokic finds a way to fit more jewelry in his fingers, we might have to have a real discussion about that greatest Center of all time discussion. Yes. Potentially a top 5 player alert.

major disrespect to lebron. His 1 or 2 period. Just very disappointed because it's so bad. USA USA USA USA
Problem with Bill Russell is there were only 8 teams at the time. That alone brings your chances to win a championship way higher.
There was also a rule that the 1st seed would get to skip the 1st round of the playoffs so they only had to win 2 playoff series to win the championship compared to 4.
Lastly he was average on offense, only 15ppg at a time in the league when guys like wilt could average 50ppg. Most his rings Bill Russell was the 3rd or 4th option on offense.
also no 3 point line back then

perfect way to analyze it. Not a single soul that actually paid attention to ball in the 90’s felt like Jordan had a disadvantage from a collective standpoint. Lebron James has 4 titles in 10 finals appearances in an era that featured teams that broke records from a collective standpoint, that’s who Bron was going up AGAINST, not playing WITH. All while breaking individual records and literally changing the perception of what Basketball players should look like in their twilight years. There’s a difference.
Lebron played in the weakest eastern conference of all time he was facing Celtics teams in the conference finals lead by a 5-9 little man Isaiah Thomas or hawks teams lead by horford and korver im conference finals.
@@ozzee5094 and who did Jordan play? How many great players was at Jordan’s position in the 90s? We all know who Bron competed with
@@Allwegottt so the Utah jazz team that Jordan beat in back to back finals beat the Kobe shaq lakers Duncan Robinson spurs and the drexler Barkley hakeem rockets. That spurs team had an all nba Tim Duncan and All star David Robinson. Tim Duncan is 2-1 vs Lebron in the finals including the 2014 where an old way past prime Duncan’s team beat Lebron’s superteam heat squad in record fashion as it was the largest margin of victory in nba finals history so Michael’s Jordan’s competition took out Duncan who’s collected 2 rings off of Lebron. Also the Shaq and penny magic squad is better than any team Lebron ever faced in the east. Jordan beat and played way more 50 and 60 win teams. Lebron has never beat 3 50 win playoff teams in any playoff run. He had the luxury of playing in the weakest conference. Not only that but Lebron after forming a superteam got outscored by a bench player in Jason terry for the entire duration of an nba finals. No kd/greek existed in 90s
And in regards to him "struggling against big

this myth arose solely as a result of his
struggles in the 2013 Finals. LeBron James had
the best series of his entire career against #1
ranked defence and reigning DPOY Dwight
fuckin Howard in 09 where he averaged 39/8/8
49FG% and 59TS. And no, the team didn't
"lock down his teammates and let him get his",
that's a throwaway that people that didn't
watch the series say to downplay his ridiculous
performance. More importantly, that very post
season LeBron played against old school non-
small ball big men all throughout the Eastern
Conference. Against Tyson Chandler and Amare
Stoudamire, he averaged 26/8/8 on 47FG% &
60TS%. Against Roy Hibbert and David West,
30/11/6 on 50FG%o and 56TS%. KG? 34/11/4 on
53FG% and 59TS%. If you wanna include

That’s not enough for Jordan fans. Because Larry bird called him “Jesus In sneakers” 😂 like I get Jordan was the goat and is s monster but Lebron is just doing things Jordan didn’t and maybe couldn’t because he didn’t take as good care of himself as lebron. But for some reason we punish lebrons health and longevity. That’s when you know except for rings and the undefeated in the finals that they don’t have much to argue
You forgot LeBronze won a BRONZE medal 😂😂
@@aarondent6557 Larry bird is the same guy that know says Lebron is the goat, every time someone says "Larry called him jesus" I always say, and that same person is saying that Lebron is better XD
@@Teddy_M85 tim Duncan and Allen iverson were on that team as well. The fact that you’re trying to shame a 20yr old lebron on s team with those 2 just proves how much better he is than everyone. Cause you not blaming td and allen iverson or d Wade either lbs. so yes he won bronze on a team where prime td and Allen were your vets 🤷🏾🤷🏾
Its really hard to argue with 2 3peats within 8 yrs.

HEY STEPHEN A..CAN U REACT TO THAT 95 Eastern semi final bulls vs magic specifically the last 3 minutes of game 6 Im sure us fans would love your take on that game
Lebron is 4 wins 6 losses in finals lol..good day
Against the best era, jordan comp was weak asf
@@rickmty7027 you must be 20 years old..shawn kemp and gary payton? Karl malone and stockton? Isaih thomas and the bad boy pistons? I can go on, what are you smoking
@@Scar.BoroughAre they in the top 10 alltime list conversations? Old heads are still stuck in the past. This is a new a era meaning everything has evolved facilities, playbooks and abilities. Move on old heads
@@Scar.Borough Nothing compared to what LeBron faced. He played a dynasty 7 times outta the 10 finals appearances. 4 times against the warriors dynasty and 3 times against the spurs dynasty. Its a joke even to compare the two finals opponents lol. 2017 warriors with 2 guys who had averaged over 30 in their careers + another 21 ppg player + the DPOY and a great facilitator all on one team and you wanna compare fcking shawn kemp, gary payton or clyde drexler.
@@musicproductionsvp-compose177 did lebron not join a champiomshup team tho? And create a superteam with him evwn after that? Instead of building with the cavs? Who did lebron face thats top 10 of all time? He lpst 6 times in the finals bro..6!!!!!!!!
There was no debate in the 90s as to who was the best... but in the 80s, there was a debate....Magic, Bird, or Jordan!!!...
Lebron might be a monster but MJ is THANOS.
yea no ..BRON is THANOS mj can be spider-man or even green lantern 😁
@@natedelgado3084 Nah Bron got to get past KOBE and MAGIC. 5 RINGS TO FOUR so i WIN this debate. 😁
Steph was the only unanimous mvp in history lost to lebron then went to the hamptons to beg kd then took a back seat curry and kd basically had to jump a prime bron jus to win
@@Eagle0watch7dvthen kareem is better than mj and so is bill russell kareem won 6 with multiple coaches and only player with 6 mvps and second all time scoring mj aint even 3rd and russell has 11
But Thanos didn't play against as many monsters. Thanos was a monster among men, whereas LeBron was a monster among monsters. That's the difference.
"You can't do that" is not an argument.
Tank lowkey bodied Stephen A
Yup all facts
Highkey
Stephen A just didn’t know how to argue his points everything Tank said can be easily debunked
@@puncho8799 how is that if nobody can make 90s more advanced on video no u cant debunk anything words cant change video
@@cmoneytheman It’s not about the video everyone knows in the 80s 90s. The video quality was trash. The question is could the players in the 80s-90s compete with the players of today and if the 92 Dream Team could beat the international players of today and I believe that they could, there’s no evidence saying that they couldn’t so it’s all about opinion at this point
Monsters among monsters, I like that.
Lebron james took a team to the finals at 22 years old something jordan will never dream doing.lebron went to 10 finals something jordan will never dream doing.lebron led 3 teams to the championship with different coaches and teammates.jordan won only with phil jakson and pippen next to him.if you think this arguments lebron is superior clearly....
Hmmm by your logic then Magic the Goat. He did it as a rookie, won the ship, and finals MVP. Go ahead and move the goal post....
Magic was not the leader of lakers back then . Kareem was the leader on the first years
Lebron fanboys…STOP ITTTTTT
@@josephloydjr7930 lmao all it takes is to compare lebron and jordan games to see whos better. Jordan has no competition compared to bron
@@ΓΙΩΡΓΟΣΣΚΟΝΔΡΑΣ-ω2κkareem was injured in that series. Magic carried as a rookie
HE KNOW BALL, GET HIM IN ESPN
LeBron took a team a that had no business going to the finals at 22!!! What team did Jordan took the finals at 22 ??? But he’s the goat 🐐 stop it
All of them
A team with Davis the Best defender in the league. Omg dumb
@@ShaiBuckets2Based on the analogy, both Allen Iverson and Jimmy Butler have strong cases for being considered the greatest of all time (GOAT) in basketball. Iverson led the Sixers to the Finals as a small guard, while Butler took the 8th-seed Heat to the Finals. Furthermore, Jason Kidd led the Nets to back-to-back Finals appearances without an all-star teammate.
Why do we celebrate losing when it comes to Bron? Taking a team to the finals is not the same as winning in the finals.
@@kenreceipts5543 thats true
