I felt it somewhat while watching the season, but I realized after watching the clips… Season 2 melt so harsh and tense, then we hear Jaskier belting out a tune and the entire season felt lighter for it. Love this character, his actor, and what he brings to the world.

Didn't laughed a single time, in the books jaskier is much funnier and smarter then here, and they have better chemistry with Heralt. Seem like Netflix can't go with funny jokes hmm¯\_(ツ)_/¯
