Colin Morrison Like you we have been to this area many times. We generally leave it for winter but the poor forecast in the west sent us east. It’s also handy as we are only 75mins travelling. ATB, Charlie
@@charliemccartney7055 I am from Blairgowrie originally,so just down the road, now in Errol and can't do the hills anymore so it's great to see my old stomping grounds, I love it up there.
Hi Ian, Glad you feel fired up for getting into the hills. Its surprising just how busy they have become since lockdown so hopefully many have enjoyed the experience and keep it going. Many thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie.
Nice wee walk Charlie. More that I have still to do. I think it will be next year before I need to venture that far! Thanks for sharing your route. Paul.
Hi Paul, You should keep Glenshee in mind for some winter routes due to the road management as it sees its fair share of grit during the winter months. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Peter, I like it.... your far off the mark, we can get to Glenshee in under 1.5hrs which is great for getting back for lunch after a wee bag of munros :) Take care, Charlie.
Hi Charlie, nice video once again, that’s some pace you’ve got, did those 3 last Sunday and thought I had a good time of 3hrs 45mins😂😂 btw is that a holder for your GoPro on your harness strap,if so do you remember where you got it? Cheers , Frank.
Hi Frank, Glad you enjoyed the video just a pity the weather didn't play ball. My GoPro holder is actually a hammer holster from Amazon as I prefer to have it at hand for any quick filming. The pack chest strap keeps it central and I have a fixing holding to to the pack so it doesn't fall off when removing the pack. Less than £10 and very handy. Cheers, Charlie.
Hello, Generally we'll target the BBC Scottish weather a few days prior and then fine tune the decision from the Mountain Weather Information Services which we have found to be pretty accurate. www.mwis.org.uk/forecasts/scottish
You sure picked the right spot. Thanks, Charlie.
Hi Geoffrey, We started with low exceptions of clear tops but it turned out just fine for the time we had. Take care, Charlie.
My favourite hills, Charlie. So many very fond memories,I've done them many a time, nice to see you know all the wee short cuts too.

New to your channel, enjoying your videos. Giving me the urge again to get put and start walking our fantastic hills.

Nice Munros Charlie but it's probably the only day out you will spend more time driving than actual walking lol!
