I am a biological science student at uoc. I went the uni in my 3rd shy, but I had the enough z score to attend the same degree at the same university in my 2nd shy. I was very blind, I decided to do ALs till i select medical faculty 😣. (Some people forced me to not to go bioscience) Unfortunately or fortunately, I could not get into the medical faculty. As u said, in the last few years I felt like I was in prison.😢😢 I got ur video suggestions back in the day too. I pretended not to have seen them.😢😢😢
From an Islamic perspective, everything happens for a reason - so don’t worry. There are things which we can’t comprehend right now. Only when you look back you start to see the big picture. This might be a blessing in disguise.

If you like to do astronomy as a career, you have to first choose physics as a subject when you are selecting subject combinations. Then you have to get selected physics specialization in 2nd year, you will be selected based on physics GPA(noramally 15 students will be selected in a year). After that you need to secure 1st or 2nd upper class to obtain a scholarship to do higher studies in foreign university also you have to do good publications. In Sri Lanka you can find a job in ACCIMT. Other than that there are japura astronomy club & SEDS J'pura, you can learn astronomy much from these societies in university.

So, එතන ගිහින් හොද GPA එකක් maintain කරන්න බැරි උනොත් (cuz I know I"m not that math nerd) special එකක් නැතුව physics higher studies වලට යන්න බැරුව stuck උනොත් (due to limited opportunities) අපරාදයක් වෙයි කියල හිතෙනවා ඇත්තටම හොයල බලද්දි.
