    Urad dal flour - 1 tbsp
    Asafoetida Powder - 1/2 tsp
    Salt to taste
    Fresh Grated Coconut - 2 spoon
    Butter - 1 tbsp
    Soaked Gram dal - 1 spoon
    Water - 1 cup
    Oil for frying
    #VELLAM_SEEDAI
    Roasted Rice flour - 1 cup
    Jaggery - 3/4 cup
    Water - 1/4 cup
    Urad dal flour - 1 tbsp
    White sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Fresh grated coconut - 2 spoon
    Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
    Ghee - 1 tsp
    Oil for frying
    #THATTAI
    Roasted Rice Flour - 1 cup
    Urad Dal flour - 1 tbsp
    Asafoetida Powder - 1/2 tsp
    White Sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Salt to taste
    Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
    Curry leaves
    Butter - 1 tbsp

    The outcome was excellent.
    All these years my m.i.l used to do. After her demise I have to do. So safely I tried your recipe &,it did let me down. Thank you so much.

    Thanks for the detailed recipe using store bought maavu mami. Generally the bakshanam does not come out crisp for me and because of neivedyam, I end up making them without tasting and feel disappointed. I followed yours and all the bakshanam came out really well and crispy. Entire family enjoyed it and our sincere gratitude to you for explaining it so beautifully
