- When You Try To Speedrun The Final Boss
It turns out big dragons don't like boats very much. With the new Muck update, I try to rush all the upgrades and overpowered weapons to take down the new end boss. His name is Bob.

he is tho lol, if you can beat the guardians then you can beat bob lol he does like 0 damage
17K life after 18 days, I mean, you could probably beat him day 1 with a rock and no powerups and no armor. The difficulty then is getting to Bob that early... And that is hard, but the bosses aren't hard to beat at all, sure if you don't know how to beat the bosses, then sure, it's hard, but after 2 hours of playing, you should be able to survive infinite amount of days on the Island on the Easy Difficulty, after 10 hours you should be good enough to repeat the same on Normal difficulty, and perhaps 15 hours to Survive 50 days on Gamer. And sure you'll get better and better, and it takes longer to survive those 50 days so you'd probably be able to survive 100, once you reach day 50, and once you reach 100 days in, you've fought so many bosses, that common powerups is the only thing you'll be lacking... I mean, I had 100 Bulldozers on day 70... I launched enemies so far away that it was silly.
@@livedandletdie thats basically how i start my journey on gamer. pick up rock -> kill zombies until you can craft a wood pick axe -> kill buff big chunk -> be op because he destroys every resource in the area for you and drops a ton of ores

My understanding is most people who played for real found the game incomparably boring and easy to reach end game, which made you an immortal God creature by day 10-20. That's why he mentioned making end game harder and nerfing Dracula which used to increase your HP to the point of being able to face tank everything in the game at once.
Honestly, the hardest thing about the game now is the fact that Gronks and Guardians can spawn from challenge totems now. A single Gronk or Guardian is easily defeatable with a steel sword, but three is ridiculous, especially before Day 10 with only a few dozen powerups.

Obamium is for a rare weapon called a shadow blade or sword that rarely spawns in a chest I think

It's called Night blade, and the normal way to get it is by killing gardians and getting the black shard and some Obama ore and dark oak wood

I downloaded this game cause it looked so fun when DF played it and goddamn is it hard to survive the first night. So hard to get to regular weapons and some shelter and the enemies won't stop chasing you once they find you. Damn bone throwing little giblets

It's like a patient sliding scale of chaos, from brute force to breaking the game, with DF doing both but to a lesser degree ,all of them as patient as saints (of chaos)

You can disable the tutorial in the first tab of settings, also I recommend you disable the grass shader as it allows you to farm mushrooms and apples fo easy food, plus it just makes finding resources a lot easier, especially if you are unlucky enough to load into a seed with grass the same colour as mythryl/adamantite

(Pro tip: Turn off the "tall" grass (in options), and you will find A LOT more items, because they hide in the grass).

Actually one of the most important upgrade early on I think is the Checkered Shirt.
Having the ability to get resources quickly is so crucial at the beginning of the game, then after the first boss fight most of the time you'll find yourself fighting enemies to farm for more upgrades.
This update made the game a lot better!
Having an end goal like this is realy good!

You don't need the maps in your inventory. Just put them in your inventory once to update your map, then trow the scrols away.

bruh these guardians barley beam him but they spam me with it im depressed
run away from them till they do the spike attack. when you see the red marked area, dodge it and start attacking him, be careful though if you stay too long he'll slash you or beam. when he gets up from doing the spike run away until he does it again. make sure you fight it near a battle totem, homie statue, or other indestructible object so you can hide behind it during beam. hope this helps

Fun fact - the music he used when fighting BOB is the Absolute radiance theme from hollow knight
I doubt you'll be playing this again but a tip to make everything quicker (and for other players), you only need 60 ore of whichever upgrade you're going for, and 30 of whichever type of wood is required, plus bark for tools. I know you like quicker progression.

At 2:45 you were also hitting the ruby with your pickaxe, and since the ruby was behind you it was top priority and the other ones were taking splash damage instead of single target
