I just want to make a comment. I have seen your other rescue videos and I am amazed at the work that is done here. I live in the USA and let's say it's one of the world leaders in wealth and technology, but it saddens me to see that vets in other parts of the world who do not claim themselves to be as grand, do such a beautiful job as I have seen in your videos, in caring for those neglected animals than it's done here in the US. I have lost so many of my beloved cats due to medical negligence that after seeing the job you do, makes me so angry that in my country people only care about filling their pockets with money instead off saving an innocent life. Kudos and all of my respect to you for doing such a wonderful job!

Yes, but they are a very unhealthy breed. The gene that gives them those cute ears cause painful malformations in limbs and spine. They should not be continued to be bred.
@@FranciscaAVior I have heard the pros and cons regarding the Scottish Fold breed. I understand the first one was found on a farm in Scotland...a little cat with the folded ears, Susie. There were definitely problems with Susie's direct descendants as they did have major problems with arthritis and deformities. In 1974 the breed was recognized due to the study of genetics that brought about a healthier Scottish Fold. But I do understand your and others' caution about this breed.

The genetic abnormality that weakens their cartilage and causes their ears to fold cannot be isolated to just their ears so how could they possibly be healthy? It affects ALL of their cartilage and ALL of their bones. Every Scottish fold is is constant pain and thankfully a few European countries have banned their breeding. More will follow. Anyone responsible for bringing these poor creatures into the world should be facing a long prison sentence for animal cruelty, and people promoting the breed as 'cute' should be heavily fined.

Those ears are like that because their cartilage is weak. It's why these cats are in constant pain and die prematurely. The cruelty of humans to produce a breed that exists in such pain is a kind of evil I will never understand.

You have a very calming way of dealing with animals and their parents. Not every veterinarian has that. When I took my therapy dog to my veterinarian for a pea sized non mobile mass on her side. In people, these often indicate cancer. She proceeded to be a little snarky with me and called me an over protective pet parent. Mind you, I am a nurse practitioner, so definitely not stupid. I still made her take the mass off and have it tested. Two days later, she called me back very apologetic. Turns out that my dog had stage two mast cell cancer. She said it was amazing that it was found so early I told her her comments about me being over protective pet parent were inappropriate and should never be repeated to another client. I truly wish you were in the USA. Your clients are very lucky to have you. Keep up the awesome care.

Those ears are like that because their cartilage is weak. It's why these cats are in constant pain and die prematurely. The cruelty of humans to produce a breed that exists in such pain is a kind of evil I will never understand.

You have a very calming way of dealing with animals and their parents. Not every veterinarian has that. When I took my therapy dog to my veterinarian for a pea sized non mobile mass on her side. In people, these often indicate cancer. She proceeded to be a little snarky with me and called me an over protective pet parent. Mind you, I am a nurse practitioner, so definitely not stupid. I still made her take the mass off and have it tested. Two days later, she called me back very apologetic. Turns out that my dog had stage two mast cell cancer. She said it was amazing that it was found so early I told her her comments about me being over protective pet parent were inappropriate and should never be repeated to another client. I truly wish you were in the USA. Your clients are very lucky to have you. Keep up the awesome care.
