I hate to Lars bash. Back when Ride & then Master came out he could do no wrong. I thought he was the perfect drummer. And I just watched them doing this song in 91 at Day on the Green (Amazing) But now he just over plays way to much and probably lost 30 seconds off the song because he plays it (and everything else) to fast. And he use to bash the drums now he's just tapping them. Lars needs to start caring again about the song not just himself. He recorded the song perfect. Just stick to it. And the excuse that he's probably bored playing it the old way 10.000 times is bullshit even if that's the case. PUT THE SONG FIRST !!!!!!

Yep, this one is all tuned down 1 step. So it's D, G, C, F, A, d. Generally drop D just refers to tuning the lowest E string down a step (like the tuning on the thing that should not be).

@STOFFEKOFFE drop D tuning means that only the E string is tuned down 1 whole step, whereas D tuning means that every string is tuned down

A monster song from a monster band! Absolutely mind blowing performance. I dig James interaction with the crowd, and Robert's duck-walk with his bass and facial expressions. Best metal band ever!

@CekoCC857 : Well i agree with u Cliff burton is amazing !!! Im a bass player, and i play alot of metallica. But the reason why i disagree with you on Cliff is better than Rob. I mean with all due respect Cliff played his Bass as a guitar alot, with a real nasty gritty distortion and wah-wah (Which was amazing) but Rob is more of a BASS player, i love Cliff i just perfer Rob because of his bass playing sound. And his signature Maisa with the highwatt, gives such and amazing bass sound !
@CekoCC857 Rob and Jason are both better bass players than Cliff. Cliff was sloppy as hell and always played out of tune. Cliff was a good song writer more than anything. He was creative and everything was different he never used the same bass patterns. But he's not a better player. Everyone needs to get of Cliffs nuts.
@CekoCC857 get your facts straight dude.Jason is not worse than Cliff.they even made him feel guilty at some point about Cliff's death.At first i thought he was worse too,but seeing how much he done for this band over the many years he stayed changed my mind.He had tremendous energy and a great voice,especially live on stage and not just for back-up vocals.

Jason has a brutal voice and he is a great backup vocal but he is not better than Cliff
