Great podcast. I've been enjoying all of them, but I especially liked this one because I'm a big fan of Philip's channel. More bass players need to learn about this podcast.
39:14 ish - the inaudible 5th fret harmonic happens most likely because the neck pickup is at around a fourth of the string length (where 24th fret would be). When you hit a 5th fret harmonic , the string does not vibrate on the 5th, 12th and 24th frets (dividing the string into four equal parts). Definitely the case with strats (their neck pup is at 24th fret position)
Loved this one - thanks for the great discussion! It did make me miss my JMJ Mustang but I’ve committed to reducing my bass collection down to the bare essentials - P Bass, Jazz Bass and a Hollowbody Short Scale - it’s tough!
Solid interview, very interesting discussion, 10/10 would recommend.
Thanks friend!!
Thanks so much for having me! Love this podcast and had a great time being a part of it. Thanks to all who listen/watch ⚡️
You’re a legend! Thanks brother! 🔥

That sounds like a great arsenal and a wise decision! Man I love a short scale hollow body
@@bassedthechannel yes I just need to delete the ‘Reverb’ app now to remove the temptation - but I like looking at basses 😀
