Thank you for watching and please subscribe to our UA-cam Channel. Also if you want us to create a product review on any particular model please let us know, we would love to hear from our viewers.
Europe has the coolest looking models. Would be a great addition to my layout.
It is a very beautiful train and we have them in stock!!
@@ReynauldsEuroImports Dis DB GERMANY 🇩🇪 ICE 4 ...... A LIKE GERMANY DB ZUG TRAIN
Hands down the best ICE HO scale train so far...
Additional notes: DCC-Sound Ver. has fully built interior lighting, the DC Ver. only comes with built-in interior lighting in the Motor Car, and it can be activated via a switch. PIKO also has separate sold interior light kits (center car/cab car) for the DC Ver. & additional cars as well. If you wanna lengthen your DCC Version, for additional cars make sure you order the lighting kit with it!
You are the most American modeltrain entusiast i have ever seen
So cool the cover system on wheels of the headcoches . ...it turns in the curves . Wow.
The train is not called "ICE" but "I - C - E".
This ist standing for "Inter City Expres".
It’s so cool wants to have it
wow that door is something else I bet you train shop is the only one in the world with a stock room like that...
wow...the ice four is stunning...I may get a set at some point...
thanks for showing....Jim
Jim I am telling you all the new Piko models are incredible, they really up their game in the last 5 years. Yes our hobby store is in a beautiful old bank building. The vault is a small storage room for all our high priced models, it is also very secure.
Great review! Thank you
good show!!!
Thanks, in reviewing the video, the presenter says that the model has interior lighting, but when I click the link for the 2-rail version, the product description in part reads "SmartDecoder 4. 1 for the ICE 4 and is prepared for the uncomplicated installation of interior lighting, which brings the detailed interior fitting to advantage". Sounds like the lighting must be installed, is that right? Does it need to be purchased separately?
Ok so the DCC version with Sound has lighting, the analog version does not.
That IS one sexy train, Rey!! WOW OH WOW OH WOW! I had actually been looking for a review of the PIKO ICE 3 Starter Kit and came across your video! A-MAZ-ING! For us "newbies" (I'm 67!) I was looking to see what a decent HO set might be and whether to go with the "usual suspects" like (Dare I say it?) Lionel, Bachmann, and even Walthers! (I was seriously considering the WiFlyer Express with sound and DCC, but this and the ICE 3 are ultra cool! Vielen Dank für die wundervolle Video-Rezension und eine tolle Woche! Kevin in St. Louis
Hello what is the better versions of the ice 4 ?? I see your video with the Ice 4 from Piko but i also see the ice 4 from TRIX/Marklin, wich is the better version ?? Quality also ?? Thank you.
Nice work, Rey. Your enthusiasm for the recent round of ICE trains in both HO and N is as much fun as learning about the trains themselves. This PIKO model looks great and has me really thinking about if I want this PIKO in HO-AC or if I want to buy it in N Scale? At first I was thinking N scale and now this video makes me seriously think about it in HO instead.
A very impressive and tempting set! But I cannot find it on your website.

Where did you capture the real train?
I mean, what's the location of capture in Germany?
I've put model railroads on hold for most of my life because I just didn't have the space. Now I look at what is out and how expensive everything has gotten and I almost choke on my drink. Times have changed :-) I've never seen Piko products in person. How does this set compare with a similar Marklin product in terms of quality?
Jonesy the Piko set is a perfectly scale model, it is exactly 1/87 HO Scale. The Marklin version is much shorter because Marklin still needs to market new models to the collectors that still use the old metal track. The issue with the old M-Track was they only offered two small radius curves so full length 1/87/HO trains can not negotiate those tight curves. For this reason the Piko set is much nicer.
Excellent train! :)
Great video man. Do you have any idea on when Marklin are expected to release their ICE 4 train?
We don't have a firm date yet but we believe it will be in Nov/Dec. Keep in mind Piko also has the AC version with sound. The big difference between the models is the length of the coaches. The Marklin are always shorter more like 1/90 in scale, the PIKO is exact HO 1/87 in scale.
@@ReynauldsEuroImports would Piko models work with Marklin C track?
I bet it can do 18 radius curves
I hope it's a UP Gevo.
Better, faster, and modern than a Gevo!!
Whatever happened to Brian?, just curious.
Brain moved to Texas and is no longer in the model railroad industry
@@ReynauldsEuroImports Thanks.
i do not like the packege of PIKO .But yes it is nice the ICE 4
The packaging however does do a good job protecting the model. We shipped the Piko ICE 4s all over the world and no damage was reported.
In germany we pay $630 :-/
We only charge $549.00, I guess that is why we sell so many!!
