I love the Ptyas Karen-ata's vocalizations! She is deeply offended by all this talk of parasites and demands to speak to the manager!
She is rather offended!
❤️these big colubrids 😁
😂😂😂
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos! I prefer these to the over produced videos that Donny used to do. You seem much more comfortable when you are just enjoying your animals and sharing your knowledge and love for them.
PS: just to clarify, I don't dislike or have any personal feelings regarding Donny. It is just a video format and content preference.
Agreed Donny turned me away from watching the videos a lot of times.
I couldn’t stand him.
What happened to Donny just curious
I liked when Donnie was on it also but I definitely agree Kevin seems so much comfortable just enjoying and teaching us about reptiles ❤ Kevin's so knowledgeable and I could listen to him talk about reptiles all day 🙂🦎🐍
Didn't care for Donny, these are much better.
No, don't fade away. ❤❤❤ Enjoying the bubblegum. You show off your animals like I'm a friend stopping by. Keep up the good work 😃
Thank you.
I greatly appreciate the oppurtunity to learn about all of the different snakes.
From somebody who doesn't own a reptile or go to pet shows, my prior knowledge of reptiles were such limited to Bearded dragons, boas, retic pythons and the two types indigenious to my home country.
So being introduced to all of the different types, their differences, their behaviour, their preferences and such has expanding my understanding multiple times over.
I absolutely love every single snake you showed. Dan is amazing love watching him and Apple sharing their travels . Don’t fade away , you are the best teacher when it comes to your animals
Thank you.
@@NewEnglandReptile I got a female lavender albino retic from you last yr and she’s an absolute beauty , thank you for 1 of the most awesome reptiles I own
I love false water cobras the lavender are very pretty ❤ I also love your cat laying there lol your the best Kevin ty❤😊
Appreciated.
Kevin you are totally noticed and loved ! Thank you so much for these videos , I appreciate your insight and passion and knowledge immensely ! Have a nice weekend❤❤❤Love you and the snakies to pieces!🐍🐍🐍
I appreciate that! Very kind
Thank you for yet another great educating video. Never have I known ptyas existed
Yes, not well known and people don’t seem to
Realize they can be tamed etc.
King Ratsnakes are criminally underrated. Coolest looking snakes out there, and if you handle them properly they’re not defensive at all.
Colubrids in general are criminally underrated. So much cooler than Ball Pythons.
I dig these lil info videos!
Glad you like them!
The 2nd one was looking at itself in the glass! Tabby cats are the best! "He/she said I'm OK. Dad won't let that thing get me." And just flopped down to enjoy the show!
That's neat!!!! They make noises!!! I love em!!!
Absolutely 💯. Miss these laid back Educational Videos and the FACT NERO Kevin and Snarfles an Ivan look forward to seeing more of the indepth videos
Thank you.
We love you, Kevin! Keep it up.
Much appreciated. I have so many nice fans!
They r really pretty snakes... 😊
Colubrids are most DEF underrated! Love them! Nice Vid.
The snake from Madagascar is really gorgeous! It seems so chill and laid back! I would love to see your whole collection! I can't even imagine how amazing it is!!!
O thank you!!! First snake is a badass choice I love them!
These are the videos I like! All about the animals, highlighting lesser known species, and no drama! More of these please
Thank you Kevin I just love watching you handling your snakes. I can just see how much you love them I can see the enthusiasm in your eyes. It's amazing to watch you talk about your snakes. I can't get enough of your channel. Again Thank You ❤ 18:19
So nice of you!!!!!! Appreciated!
I really like it when you pull out the less known stuff like a lot of the blue bridge and maybe dig into geckos a little bit this is the best shit on the internet to learn from I've saved a lot of animals with advice from your videos thanks whatever you do don't fade away the hobby has to have people like you
Love to
Hear this! ❤
I love these videos!!! Reminds me of your videos in the beginning!!!!!! Alot easier with your camera woman!!! Donnie did great but you and him are very different and while he was trying to help build the Channel of times he came across as abrasive!! These videos are so much more authentic and show more of your true passion!!! The day in the life videos and cool projects you are excited about are YOU!!! Your experience and knowledge as a reptile keeper is where your videos are the strongest!! Keep up the hard work!!!!
Thank you very much. This channel’s growth has slowed greatly and I will have to figure out some new things but for now I will persist, I hope.
You are doing famously considering how much other projects you have in the works all the time!!!! Don't get discouraged!!!! We are still your loyal fan base!!! Hope to see some new project videos, some updates on your work with USARC, outdoor excursions and hopefully when the legasea aquarium is finished you will plan a trip!!!! You do amazing things and Noone even knows about it and although you may not think it's going to interest us I promise we will so excited to learn about !!!!
I love your kitty! He’s so pretty!
Yessss
@@NewEnglandReptile when I was a kid, my parents had a Maine coon cattery specializing in reds/creams & silvers/blues.
That was back when no one knew what they were, and every long-haired cat people found was a “Persian-mix” rather than an MC.
I LOVE falsies! I would love to keep one someday, but I think they're illegal in Massachusetts (I haven't seen them listed explicitly legal or illegal, but because of the mild venom I'm pretty sure they end up in the illegal bucket).
Also - Stoked for a tegu video!
I grew up
In mass…. Well, if we call me “grown up”
But yes the laws are not easy there. I think tegus are the next one I’m filming.
I never knew many of these existed how absolutely gorgeous that hognose was 😮😮😮😮. Thank you for your time and this video!
You are so welcome!
Great! I love seeing more of your colubrid projects!
More to come!
Love your bubblegum videos so much. Please never stop
I’m
Glad you do. Appreciated.
Love the sound of that snake growling at you 😂
My cat is fascinated by my Ball. I make sure there's enough distance to prevent a bad day for either one. Probably scare each other to death if either moved quickly 😂
Those Ptyas are incredible! Best of luck in breeding, many thanks for sharing ✌️
Appreciated.
I love your videos whatever subject you like to share. I always learn something from these videos of yours, Thank you for doing them.
You are so welcome!
Good morning, lovely snakes. Great pod cast
Thank you.
Really appreciate the video Kevin!! Can't wait to see the Tegus!! Been on the fence for a while on getting one.
Beautiful snakes... Madagascar Hognose are one of my bucket list snakes - I think they are just gorgeous :-)
I think so too!
Great video as per usual! Thank you for sharing and all the information you provide 😎
My pleasure!
That is a very beautiful snake! I thought at the beginning it was a King Cobra until I saw its face! The noises she makes are awesome!! That one was so deep pitched! Nature's creatures are so amazing!!! I have learned so much from your channel, I swear! I love your channel! 👏🤍🐍
Love all of them! Thanks for sharing these beauties!! Also the close ups are amazingly good & so clear on their cute faces! My favorite is the false water cobra; so adorable!!
You are so welcome!
Lovely snakes love them all
For your consideration-Leachie socialization video😬🙏🏼 Great colubrid video ❤
Yes! Thank you!
I just like listening to you talk about your animals. Your passion shows through
Thank you . I enjoy the false water cobra. Thanks for the video
Glad you enjoyed it.
I love love love this video❤❤❤❤. These are my kind of snakes. I used to have several different varieties of corn snakes. I even had a albino but it had lavender and pink stripes. It was so beautiful but absolutely hated people. All my others loved us. They'd all been held since birth and I would let them sleep with me. They loved it. (Not the albino 😂) Anyway I love kings snakes too. Black and yellow snakes are my favorite. Those in this video are just so lovely. I protect all the wild snakes on my land. I can sit down and have wild snakes come up to me and crawl on me. They'll change their direction and come to me. It's actually amazed people that see it. I tell them it's because they know that I love them and won't let anything hurt them. 😂😂 I would love to see more videos like this. Also I love the lizards. Can't wait to see those. Your bubble gum videos are fantastic.
More to come!! ❤
Really am enjoying your videos. I love seeing all these much overlooked animals. I love your enthusiasm over them. Thank you for all the knowledge.
Thank you, appreciated.
@@NewEnglandReptile you are appreciated. Been watching older videos all morning. I learn something new every time I watch them.
The eyes in your first snake are HUGE!! SHE'S SO PRETTY! That sound she's making is really creepy cool!
Thank you so very much. I enjoyed every you tell us
Glad you enjoyed it
I could watch your videos all day. I'm an animal person. And I just love how much you love your animals.
You are so kind and you are correct!
Like the snake, love the kitty ❤
Coming up on 1 million subs!!!!! You certainly deserve it Kevin! It's been a long time coming! ❤❤❤
Haaaaa haaaaa. A long time !
Hi Kevin I loved this video. You showed such a variety of beautiful snakes. I really enjoy all of the interesting information about all of them. Please do more videos like this one. Your cat. Ginger tabby? is so beautiful, and friendly. Always so nice to See you show so much love for your reptiles. ❤🐊,🐸,lizards, 🐍,🐢Cindy from Florida
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, my kitty is wonderful too! Thank you.
I love this style of video. Thank you for going back to these.
"The poison is in the dose." An old saying...
LOVE a good orange cat!! ❤The snakes are also incredible! 😆I love watching them look at and move towards the camera, I assume it must have a light they're attracted to!
He has lost his will to live 😂😂😂 love ya kev. Keep these videos coming please ! This state is why I subbed years back !
That big male snake us staring straight at the camera and it's piercing my soul! I've NEVER SEEN A SNAKE STARE straight into the camera before. I hope you watch thud this video Kevin. You're gonna love it😊
Great video Kevin those snakes are gorgeous 😊
They are!
I love your videos, very informative and natural. I'm on the waitlist to get a falsie from Snake Discovery this year - they're such beautiful snakes!
A great species!!
Thank you for showing some beautiful snakes. I hope to see you and your babies more often.
I hope so too!
Loving the content of lesser known snakes.
Love all your content. I get to live my reptile keeper dream vicariously through you.
Haaaaaaa
Awesome video. Colubridae family of snakes are one of my favorites. I agree, Ptyas carinata keeled rat snake are definitely an underrated snake. Love the scales on the Ptyas carinata king rat snake! Don’t worry Kevin, you get a lot of love. When anyone has issues with there reptiles I always hit them up and tell them to contact you at NERD, you are an ambassador my friend. Have a great weekend Kevin. 🐍 🦎
Verrrry kind.
Brilliant content. Solid gold.
Very kind.
It's dumb that this video isn't more popular than it is so far. How does content get any better than this???
I take that with highest regard cause I ❤ you and what you do! You are kind buddy! My channel seems to be a secret but you are here so
That’s nice.
that king rat is absolutely fing gorgeous, great video mate.
Didn’t realise that rat snakes r so vocal. Beautiful snakes
The hognose snake you showed off really reminds me of a false water cobra with the coloration and pattern on the back
What fantastic animals well done you nerd folk well done 👏
3 of the four of those snakes have been a dream snake of mine for quite sometime the ptyas being the one I wasn't super familiar with. I recently got a baby king rat and I have loved watching the color change a little bit each shed. Super cool snakes and a great video as always.
I recently was able to take in an established ptyas carinata! I Looooooveee seeing you talk these guys up ❤
Now we have to
Breed them.
@@NewEnglandReptile I've seen a couple ppl in the reptile community getting pairs recently with that intent, and I'm excited to see it! Once I get a bit more familiar with my dude and confirm he is truly a dude, I might be on the lookout for a female to try my hand at it too, but with how long his prior owner had him, it might be pushing it with his age. ♡
I always look forward to your videos ❤❤❤
Awesome snakes
well done another great video 👍👍
Thanks for the visit
Interesting colubrid. Your late friend brian barcyz loved his colubrids! Need my weekly snarfles video
Yes more SNARFLES. Brian indeed loves Colubrids. He persist and is still here! ❤
I love the videos, all of them and all the different content you guys put out! Very personable, genuine, and entering. I would love an update on the red tailed green rat snakes when you have one!
Red tail rats will be coming. Thank uuu.
Ur a W. Can we see some spiders or other small creatures . Have a blessed one 🤘
I'm enjoying watching you! I used to hate snakes. Changed my mind on that!❤
Another great video we love your content and everything you do for the reptiles and animals!
Enjoyed!!
Thank uuuuu
We sure as hell don't want you fading away into the night!!❤❤
Snake Discovery i think just hatched some madagascar hognoses. I love that chinese ratsnake.
Ptyas Caranata's are soooo cute. 😍
Awesome video! Thank you Kevin. I would love a rhino viper video!!
I was just looking at rhino vipers today.
Love seeing all the different species! Maybe a video on how you keep your different boiga species?
Def more Boiga.
Love the content. Looking forward to Tegu socialization. My tegu, Little Buddy, is not afraid of me, but he will come up and bite. I'm not sure if he is being aggressive or just exploring with his mouth.
I ❤the bubblegum videos!
Awesome stuff Kev. I’m a sucker for the ptyas. Never seen one in real life never mind had the chance to keep them. I would have loved to though. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and stunning species of cool colubrids
Cool video! I have 3.3 Mad Hogs (5 are CBB, 1 is WC) and hope to produce my first clutch in 2025. Super cool and fun species, though the babies are overly dramatic spazzoids and super fast, but that makes them fun. Now I have to go research King Rats, they look pretty cool too!
Awesome!!!!!
Great video as always.
You are the greatest bro keep up the good content!!!
Very kind.
I just stumbled onto your channel tonight, I love this format! It's my favorite, listening to you just talking about what you know and love. Much better than scripted stuff! Subscribed and I'll be binging!!
love these vids !
Glad you like them! Thank you.
Awesome video, nice to see some love for different snakes. Snake Discovery has some experience with False Water Cobras, might be able to reach out to them to see how they hatched. I would definitely love to see a tegu video and maybe you can show off your dwarf caiman again? I love seeing them. Also have been loving seeing Snarfles on your Insta. You guys are doing great and I hope that people start watching more as you show off more animals in your collection.
Me tooooooooo. Thank uuu.
Love the videos..please keep them coming

Snakes 🐍 ! Ty
We have a lot of lavender/hets gigas here in Russia, it s even harder to find a normal type. I have a little het lavender and I love how bold and unbothered these snakes are when you touch their head even.
I heard they dont live too long if you feed them only rodents wonder if thats true. I try to feed 2 frozen frogs/1 mouse to mine but it's tricky to find frogs here ngl
I’ve had some pretty long time fed on rodents.
Beautiful snakes
💜
I adore colubrids, thank you. I love your videos.
Kevin, I tried to message you. I was watching a video of Steve Irwin (one of my heroes) and I thought I saw you in it! Did I?
Yes you did !!!!! I got to work with him several
Times.
Ok so the keeled rat snake was definitely what was visiting me in the city when I lived there. Must’ve been someone’s pet that escaped… or was let go bc damn it was BIG. I wasn’t about to pick it up bc I make it a habit to not pick up snakes I can’t identify, especially if they growling at me 😂
And I would love a tegu video! Not allowed black and whites in NC but I want to learn everything I can in case I decide to get a red or golden.
You had a big snake visiting you ? A black racer?
@NewEnglandReptile oooohhhh!!! It could have been a black racer. If so, it would be the only time I'd ever seen one 😊. But I swear it had the patterings of the ptyas lol
Good to see some of the less featured animals.
Yesssss
