Ok. I bought the sixes!!! They do have a richer more detailed sound than the fives.
Have you heard them paired with a klipsch sub woofer yet?

It depends on what kind of music you listen to. If you want to listen any songs which require a deep bass, I recommend this sub. I am a picky person so the bass of the Sixes does not satisfy me although the bass of its is great. The sub can make the sound better and go to the lower bass. The bass will be more clearer and feel deeper. You can go to Costco and you can get this sub which cost lower $100 than buying on Amazon or Best Buy.

I listen to elvis presley, jazz music,, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana krall, pink floyd, led zeppelin, post modern jukebox, Taylor swift, some classical, dean Martin, etc...
Don't listen to rap or bass music.
But I'm guessing that the sub might improve the music I just mentioned?

I am currently in the market for a set of powere speakers for my living room (TV and music listening) I'm so confused between the 6s,7s and 9s. I jsut ordered the Sixes today for phono and Bluetooth music and TV...One of the most beautful speakers at ANY price! Question: Can I use a speaker wire to ground from phono player?
Congratulations on your purchase! You can use an insulated single copper cable from the turntable ground to the speaker ground for the turntable. Enjoy !

WTF? Why? These are for 2 channel listening! A bass is not even needed! If yo uuse for theatre...it would be such a waste!

Hi Brad thank you for your inquiry. Locally in South Africa, there is a price difference of around R1500 (US$100) between the two, with the Sixes 'priced' accordingly "higher" - but the fives are still a very compelling buy...

But honestly, I'd think you'd need a sub paired with the fives. Apparently klipsch already designed the fives to accept the sub woofer, automatically sending the lower frequency to the sub, once connected. That's amazing.

Hi Gustavo. Not sure - did you increase the volume on the remote. My advice check all connections and make sure they are correct and proper. Hope you will find the issue soonest.
@@TheAudioCouple I did, sadly the main speaker was defective. Warranty covered it and I'm expecting a new pair. Hopefully they will work ok

Hello, I have a question. I have been trying to find this online and haven’t found any info. I have a set of the sixes and I want to connect my Klipsch sw-110 sub. Do you know if I set the subwoofer crossover on the sub all the way to max and the sixes handle the crossover or do I set the crossover on the sub? I know a normal receiver sets the crossover but did not know if the sixes function the same way. Thanks. Great review by the way. Your review is what swayed me to purchase the sixes.
Hi Brent congratulations on your purchase! As an initial setting set your subwoofer to 80Hz crossover point and then switch polarity and confirm for best performance. If your sub is too heavy' on 80Hz take it to around 60Hz for best results. Please let me know of your final results. Enjoy!

Buy a pair from Monoprice (they have a pair with a large top plate)
How do these compare against the rp 600ms? Is the sound signature much different? Treble response brighter than rp 600ms? ( I’m a little sensitive to bright speakers). I Would be using these for music and movie watching in the bedroom. Which would you recommend? I love the look and the form factor of the built in amplifier of the sixes so I hope it performs similarly to the 600ms. Thank you for your input! New subscriber here liking your channel! Hi Squeege. Thank you for your inquiry. The Sixes are slightly warmer in tone than the 600s thus for your application I would definitely recommend them. The only benefit towards the 600s is that they will play louder if connected to a very powerful amplifier in excess of 150 watts or so...but that's all. The Sixes are great! Thanks for the reply on this. I've been looking at the RP-600Ms because of how much Steve Guttenberg raved about them but couldn't seem to find any real comparison with The Sixes. They are both similarly sized and being a 6.5" horn bookshelf, I was curious on the differences aside from powered vs passive
@Aaron Ennis black is pretty neutral tho! I found an old written review from Steve Guttenberg about the sixes but he didn't seem to be as excited as he did with the RP-600M. Interesting
