Denny - I just found your channel and love it!!! God Bless you Bud - I hope I'm still trapping when I'm 80! I'm 65 now and a retired school teacher. I trapped as a young fella back in the 70's. Fur was worth something back then! I got back into a few years back to help the turkeys and deer. Now I find myself rooting for the predators! 😂 Keep the content coming!!! 👌
It must be cold up there to be using a 8 inch stake. Id never use nothing less then a 24 inch stake around here unless I'm in solid rock I'd use a 18 inch stake. Nice catches
Hello Denny...just discovered your channel yesterday...like your content...I moved to ND..9yr ago..I'm watching your videos to figure out how to trap ND...any tips would help

Thanks for sharing your straw set method. I am going to have to try that out! Keep sharing!
I can't believe those nails hold but you proved it!! Looked very cold out there! Hats off to you for sharing my friend! Good luck with everything!
I need to get some of those nails! I'm in MN and we have the concrete too! Wolf fangs just bend over. Great video Denny!
After watching you dig, I’m sold on the spike nails. Hello from West Virginia.
Really enjoy your Videos. Watching from Arkansas…..
Thank you for these awesome videos my favorite trapping channel
How can you reset after a skunk is in the trap, they spray as soon as you dispatch them, right ?
If you double lung them they don't spray, no scent at all
Looks like northern Minnesota
Eastern irth Dakota
South east ND

Usually if we can get the spike in 3 to 4 inches it's plenty

damn i get the greatest kick out of watching your videos.keep them coming. I thought our Minnesota weather was tuff. nothing like yours tho
You got more snow there than we got here in New Brunswick CANADA
Tough conditions but, still a lot of fun👍🏻
Where do you get your hides tanned?
-37 degrees ??? Wow!
When u set set the hay set. Im pretty sure u didnt stake it in the ground😮
Good eye, yeah he thought about that half way back to the truck and went back
@@ShaneKasowski glad he got it staked.keep the great videos coming
Do you shoot your skunks in the lungs? 🇨🇦✌️
@@dougsmith548 yes both lungs
What’s your general rule for snare size and height for coyote?
Bottom of snare about 10 inches off ground, and 10 inch loop
@ thanks! I have always had good luck with fence line snaring but struggle with trail snaring.
In several of your videos you mentioned trail cameras. What are the chances of getting a video of trail camera footage?
Wr will be having some in the nea uture.
Coming soon, it's in the works
Heavier pan tension will stop catchin the birds. My opinion.
We have big pheasants everywhere, and they will even peck at a trap until they set it off
I live in Minnesota and i use a axe to notch my trap bed works way better then them trapping hammers
We do also, but we have as much black dry dirt as we want so it's easy to make a bed for them
