Here in Australia we had 30% of all movies at jbhifi. But they had JB hi-fi giftcards 15% off at a supermarket so I ended up with 45% of movies, bargain black friday hack.
Always look forward to your flick Trip video
Can never go wrong with watching a new Flick Trip!
Didn’t go out. Black Friday is garbage now. I’ll just buy what I need online. The stores never have what I want or need.
I went to Target because they were price matching during Black Friday for the first time and were having a buy 2 get 1 sale.
Got Licorice Pizza, The Black Phone, and The Lost Boys for $6.67 each.
It’s like they’re giving up on living.
Same
Your live streams got me through my 12 hour shifts, thank you
Got the worst anxiety ever this week. This video calmed me down. Thank you John ❤️
This guy is the reason why collection is growing
Black Friday Flick Trip video >> actual Black Friday
I just got my first 4K TV as I move out of my parents house. I am now having to start my 4K Blu-ray collection, so it's super cool to refer to your videos on your own collection. Physical Media is where it's at.
When I’m bored, I go to Walmart. Not even to buy anything most of the time, but being out in the wild feels like an adventure every time
I love these videos. Just sad to see that physical media is dying :(
It's ogre.
90S & 2000S is over
Hey John! I just watched it again hehe. In the last video, I said I can't believe how sad black friday is now and the fact that physical media is slowly dying out. If best buy stops having the movie shippers, black friday will be fully online. I like actually going out into the wild and finding stuff. I hate online shopping. Thanks for the great video! Oh and I picked up a huge stack of 4k movies from Best Buy.
Another glorious Black Friday Flick Trip... Thanks for keeping up the tradition John!
I always watch your videos of your movie collection. This was still good. Thanks for showing us the experience.
Thanks for consistently producing quality content and your dedication to physical media.
Another great flick trip video. Also your Black Friday deals guide video you made was super helpful showcasing great prices for great titles
Been watching these black friday videos of yours for years, love them
Those are the best kind of videos! Love Flick Trips, John against the world🔥🔥
Love the vids! been watchings since 2014, you've kept my love for physical media alive!
I always enjoy watching these videos of you out and about John. Unfortunately they are tough to come by with physical media in stores dwindling more and more.
Your Black Friday and Blu-ray collection videos are my favorites!
That sucks that Walmart didn't have any movies for sale
Keep up the great content John. Look forward to these videos every year.
Hey John great video I couldn't agree more about the sad state of black friday this year have a good one man
Black friday 2022
Been watching all your Black friday videos today, very relaxing vibes.
Love your Black Friday videos, John! I look forward to them every year!
Sad to see that Walmart isn’t doing doing Black Friday deals on movies anymore. So disappointing. ☹️
Always have to pop in for the black Friday. Love your videos John!
Love the Black Friday videos!
No movies this year, but got a really good deal on Ghost of Tsushima for the PS4. Fantastic game so far! And despite the poor store selection this year, you still made a very entertaining video, John. Have a good one! :)
Always enjoy a Black Friday Flickpick video!
this is genuinely my favorite black friday tradition
I love the physical media- especially blu ray and 4K!!!
Always love the Flick Trip videos, John! And I’m like you, these stores are just dwindling down and barely doing anything for Black Friday. My Walmart has been crappy the last few years anyway, they never put the new releases up or restock the older items. There’s always a lot of empty spaces in the movie section. Same goes for Best Buy; once in a blue moon it’ll be great but oftentimes, I end up using the deals on their websites cause there’s a lot more than in the stores. I hate that both stores are slowly phasing the physical media out the door, makes me sad.
John, I enjoyed the video and I have to agree with you this year's Black Friday was Far different than even prior to the pandemic. Although I appreciate it the fact that they waited until Friday to do black friday, I think the magic you were talking about from years ago, might be gone forever. Although I did pick a few things up online. Happy holidays and excellent video!
Never get tired of these amazing Flick Trip videos
One of my favorite yearly videos on UA-cam. Hilarious the guy who lives most like a vampire is one of the people who prefers shopping in store
Been a fan for years. Thanks for uploading 🙂
Walmart actually had Blu-ray’s and 4K’s on sale a week before Black Friday you got to actually watch for their sales prior I only got like 5 movies most had sold out but yeah, most stores will do movies, games and electronics on a different week
So blessed for this channel John! Love ya man!
"OH IT'S COOKIN NOW!" - Johnny Boy
Didn’t do Black Friday this year online or in store. No great movie deals as you saw 😢
Thanks for going out tho and hope your doing well!
I picked up Edge of tomorrow, Shawshank redemption, the green mile, avatar, and the hateful eight, most of which on 4K! Love the flick trips my man! Here’s to getting a flick trip every Black Friday !
Top Gun Maverick jumped into my top 20 films pretty easily. Was blown away by it in the cinema and upon a rewatch I found it to be even better, truly a masterpiece
Always love hearing ur "my name, is, Mogan Freeman" impression hahaha
I actually went a couple days before Thanksgiving and my Best Buy still had a ton of cool deals. But it’s sad to see that other stores aren’t showing as much love to physical media.
Great video man you are one of the few people that I like watching there blogs
I was so excited to click on this! Thank you for still making your Black Friday hauls, I definitely miss going out late at night to do my Black Friday shopping, I'm sad that since pandemic it's been a dying trend, but I also understand workers not wanting to spend their holidays dealing with the customers. Wished we could have saw the pizza you ended up getting! Let us know how those 4k movies turned out on your TV o7
I bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress and I love it, but that Helix looks absolutely awesome!!
The Black Friday yearly streaks just keeps going!
Even tho ... the times are changen .. &.. not for the Best.. I still enjoy your Black Friday Vids... Happy Holidays Mr. Flickinger
Our Best Buy had no movies at all. Target and Walmart also had no deals, but at least they had movies. Thank goodness for online deals...I got Maverick 4k for 9 at best buy online.
John you made me want to re watch all those movies, I hope you're doing well my friend.
Look forward to the flick trip videos. Didn’t go out this year.
Love the videos John! Keep it up don't get scared now.
Great Video John really enjoy watching these every year
Hey John love your vids keep up the good work man always a pleasure to see your vids
Picked up The Batman on 4K. Have yet to see it but I am stoked to watch it on my Oled! Thanks for your videos. Love watching them. Let us know if inglorious bastards is a bad transfer please!
Great video John!!
Love these flick trips
I’d love the Spider-Man 4K! Also thanks for the Helix recommendation! Been looking for a mattress
Great video! My Wal-Mart didn't have anything when it came to Black Friday sale. On top of that, their Movie section has shrunk down to half an aisle. It's unfortunate that alot of stores such as Walmart and Target are shrinking their physical media section because alot of people buy digital. Bring back Physical Media!!!
Everything I ordered on Black Friday ended up going cheaper on Cyber Monday, so, I’m canceling and returning everything to get the lower price on Amazon. Really sucks! There should just be one day for these big sales.
But good on you for grabbing Edge of Tomorrow on 4K! I think you’ll be pleased.
The first shot of you in the car looked real good, that sunrise ah👌🏻
John smelling the bikes 😂
This is actually one of the best channels on UA-cam. Keep it up John!
Great shopping video, John!
Love ya John, been watching your Black Friday hauls for years, this one broke my heart 😢
I always love watching ur Black Friday videos bro
That spidey 4k would look great on my shelf John😉
😄 John, do you remember those early dvd days when you had to flip the disc to see the 2nd half of the movie? I remember owning a copy of Air Force One that had an 'intermission' 😆
This brings me back to my great depression of 2018, where I basically watched conspiracy theories on UA-cam, the Speedy Diver and you in your Flick Trips. Good times, in a way. I loved it when you rode around in that bike getting inside random buildings, at night. Such adventure and mystery.
I always love flick trips
Awesome annual video! My Walmart also had ZERO movies on sale. Such a bummer. That Spider-Man 4K lookin sweet tho👀
There are very few UA-camr's videos where I laugh out loud, there is something about John's humour, and it's sometimes him not even trying to be funny in these flick trips...he just seems to be inherently funny. Love you, John...you rock!
I had the exact wal-mart experience, zero (additional) movies and a few containers of video games. I thought Edge of Tomorrow had a lot similar to Starship Troopers (movie and the original book). My only black friday purchase was "That 70s show" all 8 seasons on BR for $20 at best buy - finally get to see it sans the over-the-air tv 50 commercials per episode version.
Love the Flick Trips
My Walmart was the exact same, no deals on movies at all. Saddens me but everything is easier online apparently
Maybe bc I’m in a big city but black Friday hasn’t changed a bit. Went out to get my new tv the lines were out the store. It was chaos. Then I went back the next day to get wolf of wall st and NWH and it was still a mess.
Times they are a changing. Good luck on the 4k giveaway everyone! Enjoy the content John.
Love the video John stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
Best Buy won Black Friday deals this year in retail. However, they all started before Black Friday. I did find some movies at my Walmart, but the in store 4K deals were very slim. I did all my Walmart movie orders online, but had to physically go to my store to grab the $15 Black Friday vinyl deals. Vinyl deals that actually started the week before the actual Black Friday. I also picked up a couple of 4K Target Black Friday deals online. I grabbed Doctor Strange 2 on 4K three weeks ago from Target online for $10. Then, I grabbed the Lightyear 4K ($8.61) and the Reservoir Dogs slipcover 4K ($14.99) online from Target the day after Black Friday.
I have all of the titles you picked up, too, save for “The Green Mile” which I agree was heart-wrenching and the reason why I didn’t pick it up for Black Friday this year.
I did buy the steelbooks of “Inglourious” and “Sicario” previously in the last two years, while “Maverick” is well worth the $30 price tag!
Hey what’s up hope Black Friday is better next year !!
Always enjoy the Flick trip videos any time of year! I don't shop for videos any more since my whole collection was stolen about 8 years ago after I had finally finished replacing a large VHS collection. So I said I wasn't going to buy any more videos. I did get a new phone for Black Friday though... and some fancy Photoshop brushes. :P
love to see our boy out with the masses
Hi John I’ve got my three favorite Christmas movies stacked ready to go, Die Hard, Home Alone and Edward Scissorhands.
It's so sad seeing how things have changed, I missed the old days back in 2011 when there are tons of bluray you can choose from with special edition such as Ben Hur on the shelf of Walmart
My favorite holiday tradition...Flick Trip Black Friday
Congrats on 100k! John
These videos were the reason I started watching your channel… like 6 years ago lol
Black Friday this year was absolutely horrible. I really miss being able to go out to target, walmart, and best buy and coming home with 10+ blu rays. This year I only got 2 blu rays from best buy. At least I was able to get some good movies on amazon for a good price.
Handheld movies are the true present for Christmas
I think the lackluster BF sales really puts a damper on spending, it gives the impression there aren't readily found deals so people really aren't in the deal hunting mindset and just casually head out or don't even bother. Also, my local Best buy closed and the closest BB store is now a 30+ mile round trip further away.
Walmart down here in Puerto Rico had black November. Every week they had deferent sales. On the second week was when they had movies on sale. The selection wasn’t great this year. I got Gostbusters afterlife, the barman and Spider-Man no way home for $7 and $10. This past week an Xbox series x finally. It wasn’t on sale per say but it was finally available so I got it with GTA 5 and a couple of switch games. Sonic colors for my self and animal crossing for my niece.
Awesome video John love your content
I used to love going out on Black Friday, it used to be an experience. Now it's just more of an online exchange for me.
Ah yes the annual Flick Pick Black Friday video. It brings me joy knowing your still hunting for great movie deals.
I discovered a lone copy of Three Thousand Years of Longing on 4K on the shelf at my local Best Buy, so I picked it up.
You’re the best, John!
Hope you enjoyed that pizza, John. Love how active you are now on both of your channels.
Black Friday was already going downhill, but covid really did it in, at least at Walmart (I work at Walmart). They split their event up into three separate events - the movies were on the second event the week before Thanksgiving. It was a pretty sad selection though - I only picked up a 4K copy of Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. I ended up spending about $110 on Best Buy's website after your video last week.
1st time watching one of your videos... and let me just say, it was an experience!!! A fun and entertaining haul... thanks for the chance at winning the Spidey movie. Happy holidays.
