    I've never commented twice on a video but I really have to.. What a flawless performance.. If you were around in the 80s you could easily be the lead guitarist for Whitesnake.. Keep rocking!!

    Amazing ! i found you while i was looking for some guitar backing tracks, the playing was amazing, i am still learning and not even half way with what you do, it would be nice if you decided to make some tutorial in the techniques you use, the combinations of patherns and that stuff, sounds amazing, i did learn a few more just watching your videos, but sometimes they are way too fast to notice :(

    Ryan you have to release an album of your own original music. It easy to see the Satch style but you have your own interpretation which is very melodic and valuable in its own right. I see that Joe is already impressed. You've got it Ryan - release you own album - from a new fan :)

    WOW....just great !!!
    I have to ask...which do you like more the JS1200 or the 2410?

    • @ryansmith3747
      @ryansmith3747  9 років тому +1

      Garth Jones
      Thank you!!!
      I like them both equally but for different reasons.
      The 2410 is more powerful and chunky sounding whereas the 1200 is softer, sweeter sounding. So I use the 1200 for songs like "Love Thing" or "Starry Night" and use the 2410 for songs like "Revelation or Summer Song" But If I was forced to only have one, I would choose the 2410 because of the extra frets and the heavier sound, especially on chords

    hey man awesome playing tone and tone! question for ya. Im really debating pulling the trigger on an Ibanez JS soon. Between the JS1200 JS2400 JS2410 JS24P Or the New JS2450, which one would you prefer. Im looking for the Straty type of neck pickup sound that Joe gets. Can this be achieved with the JS1200? Or is it mainly a JS2400 thing. Thanks!

    • @ryansmith3747
      @ryansmith3747  9 років тому

      John fedele
      Thank man! You'll get the stratty sound on all of the JS guitars really, especially with the coil tap on the tone pot. However I've got the 1200 and 2410 and when comparing them together the 2410. sounded more strat like to me, the cleans sound brighter on the 2410. The 2450 is just the same guitar as the 2410, it's just a different color. I haven't had any experience with the 2400 or 24p. Hope this helps :)

    • @Johnfedele14331
      @Johnfedele14331 9 років тому

    • @ryansmith3747
      @ryansmith3747  9 років тому

      Haha yeah it does. Unless you prefer purple color, then go for the 2450. I like the orange color better though :)

      they stay in tune no matter how much abuse you give it? Thats one thing that scares me about floyds haha ive had bad luck

    • @ryansmith3747
      @ryansmith3747  9 років тому

      John fedele
      I've had bad luck with them too but the JS series has the best floyd rose style trem that Ibanez make. I've never had a problem with it.

    Hey Ryan whats up? I love your videos, congratulations. I have purchased recently the js2410 and im very satisfied with the guitar. My guitar is very well adjusted from factory but its time to restring the guitar and i dont know wich the string gauge is. Do you know it? may be 9-42 or an hybrid 9-46 ...?. Im afraid to dissarrange the guitar if i put the wrong gauge, can you give me a hand? thanks mate. Regards from Spain

      Hi, My JS2410 came from the factory setup with 10-46 gauge strings. I think it's because Satriani uses this string gauge now.
      Thanks
