Man, how did I miss all of these extra things they threw in when I played through this?? I would have loved to fill out the fame finder and the "previously on" would have been so cool! Great work as ever, this is as compelling a watch as all your other work. I feel you with how difficult this game can be, I had such a rough time when I played.
It’s kinda strange that they didn’t bring back the Fame Checker or Previously On. The latter especially seems super helpful. I’m glad you enjoyed and thank you for watching!
Good to see another great video! These games were the first Pokemon games that I played. FireRed is my favorite and the better choice. I will fight you on that! I will agree with you 100% that this art style is one of my favorites. Can't wait to see what's next! Also nickname suggestions are Mimi for Starmie, and Sulong for Ninetails.
There’s something about these games that I can’t describe but just make me like them so much. It’s probably nostalgia, but either way they’re so good. Thank you for watching again, and I’m glad you enjoyed!
first!!!!!’’11!!1!1! another amazing video as always. I didn’t know most of this about Pokémon! the upgraded graphics and music definitely are a big upgrade imo. it’s also crazy how natural the addition of gender, held items, etc was, but that might just be because I wasn’t playing the games when they weren’t around lol. I don’t enjoy evolutions or Pokémon being locked behind anything, but aside from that everything else was either good or at least just ok from my standpoint. i think a good nickname for Flareon is Nova! 👀👀 looking forward to the next video! keep up the amazing work!
Thanks again as always for watching! I think Pokémon in the earlier days did a great job with introducing new mechanics like you mentioned. Overall I think that FRLG were quite good for being remakes especially since they were the first. I’m glad you enjoyed and stay tuned!
I remember getting Leafgreen back then and it was a blast playing them in a gen 3 landscape with a lot of added content from Ruby&Sapphire. While i started with Gen 2 first then Gen 1 with both Blue and Yellow, the remake gave it that quality of life that the originals lacked which is nice. P.S Venusaur gang baby
Would you say that you prefer the remakes to the originals despite having played Gen 1 first? I played Leafgreen long before I played any Gen 1 game so I was a bit spoiled by all of the QoL stuff, and maybe that reflected poorly on my view of Gen 1. Thank you for watching btw!
@@Rogue074 Yeah i know that feel, although for me i could go with either version since i grew quite familiar around them sure going back to a previous version might seem to feel slow and janky but it doesn't bother me if you ask me. Every game has it's pros & cons, but to me what matters is to have fun. Nice retrospective video i enjoyed it while it gave me a sense of nostalgia, as to back then i spoke very limited English since my main language is Spanish but playing videogames helped me learn and improve on it, so i'm quite thankful for that.
I honestly could not have said that better myself. It’s also great to hear that games helped you in more ways than just entertainment. I’m glad you enjoyed my video!

Oh, and as a name suggestion, why not call dugtrio Whacka, as a reference to Paper Mario?

i also think ninetales should be named kyuutsune (combination of kyuu (one version of the number 9 in Japanese) and kitsune!)

continue and you will grow big!

Thank you so much for the kind words! This was my first video using Wondershare Filmora and I like it so far!
Nice review!! 🎉
