First Impressions of a Pakistani Village (Saidpur) 🇵🇰

- Just outside of Islamabad is a smaller village called Saidpur Village. My friend @harryjaggardtravel and I made a trip over there to meet some locals, walk around, and try some food at one of the local restaurants. This was our experience here.

Hi dear
Even though people throw alot of trash in public places, and there might be things which have irritated you in Pakistan but I haven't seen a negative remarks about the place, and that has brought you guys near to our hearts.
Why can't a single person just pick up the trash in a small area and that turns into avalanche of people cleaning the place up?
I would do it....
I think that's all about awareness. Alhamdullih after 10th standard my elder cousin used to put trash in car instead of throwing out and when he gets home he thrown into trash can. That inspired me alot. I can not change the world unless I change myself. We should be educated our people. Thanks
🥺
Trash, graffiti and hygiene are few things we should work on. Street vendors are literally touching food with their hands, and wherever you go you see trash. And not to mention the unwanted graffiti at historical places. I despise that.
@@hamzaansari4172 🥺😳
Loved the way you described your food and especially the sauces lol. My wife and I were laughing like crazy. Also, the way you said Des Pardes as Des Padres haha. Des Pardes means 'our land and foreign land' in my poor translation. Glad you enjoyed your meal though. What you ate, we call it Chole Bhature in India. Loved this off-beat chilled vlog away from main big towns out there.
Love to you both and all the Pakistanis you play Cricket with haha. This Indian cricketer will come soon too to play with the locals. Love to all reading this.
-Your India Brother ❤
Hahaha whoops, I said it the Spanish way 🤭 thanks for the translation on what it means! Thanks for watching and hope you can play cricket there soon! ❤️
you are always welcome brother
We Pakistanis always welcome foreign tourists as guests but when Indian arrives here we warm welcome them like cousins.
you didnt need to comment this big but anyways, comparing the Paksitani food with indian's may not justify the two separate tastes and spices' differences. You have your own amazing taste which is quiet different then Pakistani cousines, way more tastier, nothing personel. Pakistani people are much more open hearted then common indians' as many of our relatives, when they visit there, they enjoy but face criticism too from common men. So, both the places hold their own charms, though the cousines look similar, are way too different in tastes. Paksitani food is filled wih love too.
@@shahanaomair8949 people with love in their heart look for similarities. Others look for differences. Peace 😚
Ps- I love Pakistani food ❤️

Hi
I love how you guys interact with people loving the vlogs from British Pakistani 😊
Ayisha u also focus on the interaction among ppl .. I too think alike
Got to ask why you guys quickly feel the need to announce your foreign citizenship/residency while claiming to love your country? An honest question
@@mysteriousjz to show where the point of view comes from
@@jacobgarza4049 that would have been if you were inherently living there. But, in this case they are Pakistanis in heritage, so their points of view,, just abode abroad, would be tainted anyway. Thus, it would lose the effect and weight of the point of view.. My point is I have only seen Pakistan/Indians quickly make known their pride prize of foreign citizenship and then turn around and assert patriotism towards Pakistan in the next sentence. I find this odd, I don't see much among other people.
You should try to communicate with Harry to make both you upload the same day, I believe it will look more fun, isn't that the meaning of friends cooperation?
You are really very lively, and your enthusiasm should have infected many locals. The restaurants and dishes there are awesome and I feel food very delicious!
I love hearing from your~ Mm mm mm, It feels like you're enjoying those foods, and very happy! Your videos have always been fun, thanks again for sharing!

Likewise, I liked it a lot! I'm so glad you did too
It looks beautiful my 18 years living in Karachi I haven't been there . I'm for American
I hope you get to go soon! 😍❤
Das padres restaurant.
You ate... Halva channa puri.
The Halva that you called cous cous was made of semolina butter and sugar.
Your garlic cheese nan is known as kulcha nan, the bumps on the nan is the giveaway.
The parantha was actually a puri..... Parantha is made from wheat and puri is made from white flour.
Good to see your humble Nature with all of them 👌🏻 That's what Islam teaches us❣️✌🏻
🙏🙏

Halwa is a sweet dessert made from fine semolina. It has sugar and nuts and sometimes raisins or other dried fruit and subtle spices like cardamom. For special occasions it's decorated with edible silver or coloured balls or silver edible paper. It's very easy to make.
I love that video especially meeting the locals in the village is so heart warming.
I love rural towns, they are simple and beautiful, but why I feel that they are quiet, somewhat beautiful, beautiful, beautiful I can not describe seeing this vegetable that fills the place, the earth and the paratha oh my God😆😋
I hope you continue to visit these places, it improves our mood and relaxes our souls😌
thank you, you are wonderful Thanks for the translation. I hope you read my comment🙆🏻♀️

Sunday is the official weekend in Pakistan @Worldnomac. Monday is the first day of the week bro.
Wonderful series! Loving every bit of your adventures in Pakistan!
Hey guys I'm also from saidpur village,, Good to see you there,, thanks for showing this village to the world
Salam walaikum Bilal. Can I ask you to start a campaign to clean up Saidpur. I was there two years ago and I wished the local people kept their town clean so tourism can increase and your town gets richer.
Please humbly ask you to get others involved. It's easy to do and you will find that it will make a huge difference in your village.
Also please ask people not to throw garbage in the streets but in a waste basket as a practice.
Shukrai.
@@0786AHA yeah bro sure,, yeah I have friends they can help us
I think it is a nationwide problem despite professing Islamic beliefs but ignoring "cleanliness is next to God?" Since there is not much of law and order systems there, you guys might wanna gather volunteer groups on social media and start nationwide campaigns. It is not hard to do if trove of volunteers pitch in. Once, clean, I think people will see another perspective on life and might change their behavior for the better
Awesome you both, winning hearts and minds of Pakistani people...much appreciated paying visit us
The video is amazing.
Great, great, wonderful.
Thank you, Mac.
I wish you success
Assallam o Aliakum. Well come in Pakistan dear friend.. Have a wonderful travel in my country
Saidpur is one of my favorite place to visit in Islamabad. It makes me feel like I am in Skardu.
Officially saturdays and Sundays are off days, however some markets prefer to close on Friday for few hours or do half days.
Welcome to my country 🇵🇰❤️.. Pakistan is land of hospitality and natural beauty
Mac, A wonderful video and it is nice to watch it, especially with the beautiful village views..
Quick one ...when you say 'yaar' thats basically like saying 'mate' to your friend. You wouln't say that to the older lot. To them you address with either 'Cha Cha Jee' meaning uncle or say it in English. For example, Ke haal ye Uncle? or Keh haal he Cha Cha jee.
Shukriya yaar 😁 you are so friendly n funny 😆i really like ur personality
Amazing Guys! I like your sound Shukriya Yar! 😀👍🏻 No doubts Pakistan 🇵🇰 is a beautiful county specially Northern of Pakistan and the peoples of Pakistan are so great and the country is a peaceful place to visit.

And your answer should be yes USA & UK have very hospitable people there too. We are a generous and hospitable place. There are free food give aways all over the USA. We give to charity churches and homeless. You 2 are exemplifying the kindness and generosity of our western lifestyle. I think you should say the people here make us feel like we are as welcome as home. You guys may not realize it but you are the real ambassadors of our great nations. Love to u both and the people of Pakistan! Keep up the good work.

Wow so beautiful ❤️ Pakistan Islamabad city bro
It's a halwa made up of samolline, and the 3 are the chattnies made up of mint and corrindor leaves and mix with yogurt.
In Pakistan, Saturday and Sunday is off. Friday's, we get longer breaks but it is generally an On day.
Also, the commentary on the game is so good, you make so many mistakes with terminologies but appreciate the effort. :D
For Harry, we generally play cricket with taped tennis balls on the road, since they are softer and if they hit something, they don't cause as much damage, they are more affordable too.
