Best content in ages, great stuff and I'd love to see you do full 18's. Shiels' about to finish his Break 75 series, maybe you could try a Break 90? Joking aside, you film and present real golf very well, full rounds and more of this would be fantastic. Must be hard to do alongside daily uploads though, you certainly are a trooper James.
You two together is comedy golf gold! Playing golf with you two would be hilarious but my golf memories from when I first started were at a par 3 pitch and putt and it helped me a tonne to get me into golf
I started playing at Tinsley GC & Rothervalley GC. I always remember Bondhay Gc as its my nemesis course and theres that much sand its like playing at Skeggy lmao.....Great vid guys
I began playing regularly at Beauchief Municipal when I moved to Sheffield in 1980. Never got to play Wortley. I was a member at Royal Hallowes for about 10 years until we moved to Notts. I'm looking forward to this series, and enjoyed this one. Looks a beautiful course.
Can’t wait to watch all episodes of this series, really love the banter Chris brings when he is on the channel, good win James, Chris will be after revenge at the next course
Hainsworth Park, Brandesburton, East Yorkshire. Family play here. Had a significant injury, story for another time. But in a nutshell my own golf ball hit my eye directly! Could say it hurt but I was out playing again three weeks later. Welcome to come down & give the course a whirl!
Love your matches. This is a great idea to travel around to see different courses and parts of the country. Looking forward to the off course content as well. Let’s see the full 18 hole vlogs too.
James on the par 3 with the shed you need to do a video where you try to skim a ball off the roof of it up onto the green. See how many shots it takes to get one on 👍🏻👍🏻 also you need to tell Chris to calm down he gets way too excited 😳😳😂.
Chris is my idol. Carrying a cup of coffee, using a ball he found, and probably using a broken tee peg he just picked up. That’s the way to golf! I once made the mistake of bringing my coffee in one of my wife’s coffee cups, then proceeded to forget it next to the second green. Luckily it was still there when we came back.
Loving the video of my home course! You two are a good comedy act together, although seems to be your favourite holes are my least favourite! Ha ha I hate 10 & 12 but love 16/17 Look forward to the match with Rich, great guy!
Wetherby saw my return to golf after 10 years following 3 shoulder surgeries after an assault! You will love the new closing holes mixed with the original holes.
This is going to be a cracking series James and I can’t wait to see where you end up playing. You can always join me down Reading way mate but you will have to wait until I get over my operation on my back. If Chris was more laid back he would be horizontal 😂😂
If you ever find yourself in Edinburgh, come play at Swanston. Best views in Edinburgh can see all the way to Fife and down to East Lothian. It's windy as feck and the gorse rips you a new one if you end up anywhere near it... so fun!
Come on out to America and play me at Stonewall Jackson Resort, the Palmer Signature Course.... lot's of courses can say they are designed by Arnold himself... but few can be called a signature course.... which is my home! It's one of the most beautiful layouts period. With the major use of elevation and the hills. And always in great shape, and never busy! A very hidden gem!!
Video Pitch for the series, has a slight time severity though. The club I fell back in love with Golf at is closing on the 4th July... it also happens to be on the same plot of land as the world famous Ajax training facility. Second vid in the series, a trip across the road to play the Amsterdam old course a course that had a football stadium and a railway built on it... I mean, I'm pretty sure you and Chris would enjoy the trip and there is a nice easy route via Hull for the Porsche.
If by some miracle in the future you make it to Indianapolis, we could go out to the Brickyard Crossing GC. It's inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where the Indy 500 is held. LPGA just had a 3yr tournament there. And you could take a ride in the 2 seater around the track🤙
Great video!! Go for 18 or 9 holes. Also - come and visit Galicia - Spain. 🇪🇸. We have some great courses - La Toja (top 50 in the world 9 hole course).. Although my favourite is over the border, so far - Estela in North Portugal 🇵🇹.
James do you feel you early extend on your golf swing. Just looks like it on a few of your shots. Just wondering if you will have a coach take a look at it.
IF you make it over the big Atlantic pond, come see us at the Preserve at Honey Creek Resort in Iowa. Its near and dear to me cause its the favorite place my daughter and I play. She just took up the game this year and is doing really well improving. The Preserve on Rathbun Lake | Iowa Golf Course | Honey Creek Resort
Big fan of both if you and this series idea. Would love you to come and play at either my current club fulford or where it started for me Temple Newsam I leeds. TN is a course that really needs some exposure. It's a Council owned course and was 36 holes but due to funding its been taken down to 18.
This is going to be a great series of videos chaps. So, what about popping over to our local course at La Finca when you are allowed to travel. Or, I know Jamie wants to go back to the 9 hole course where he cut his teeth and learnt the basics of the game - Fountain Ridge at Willow Valley. If we're ever allowed to travel without quarantine, what about featuring a genuine 'beginers course' ?
It would be great if you both could come down to eastsussex I play at willingdon golf club which I have been at for 2 years now I used to play at Eastbourne downs where I started But piltdown has a lot of good memories for me where one of my mates was an artisan member who no longer is with us anymore and crowborough becon is anther great track down this way
Play at Darwen golf club cracking course small green and mint fairways plus it's five minutes drive for me also played as a junior there I've only taken game back up three years ago I'm off 10 but should be in day one lol enjoy your game Chris and James I would really enjoy a game with both of you one day
Come to good old Hartlepool golf club. It's the club I've joined since coming back to golf after a 20 year break. It'll challenge your short games for sure
Castle Eden Golf Club, Nice course North East England 14 holes OOB / Hazards left be good to see if James can get round without loosing a ball! FORE LEFT!
Fire up the Porsche and come down to Oxford GC - the oldest golf course in Oxford - and well known for the best and fastest greens (up and around 13' on the stimp for the recent Jamega event) in the area. I'll host you both and I might even buy Chris a coffee!
Chris has me in stitches every time he is on, so dry and so funny 🤣
It's like the golf version of last of the summer wine!:
"Me back's gone" "Well, my knee's gone" - Hilarious boys!
😂😂😂😂
Any video with Chris is always a good one, his dry sense of humour cracks me up
Great idea.
Chris on James’ putting “stroke like zorro!” 😂😂😂 love it!!!

This series is going to be great. Love the banter between you both 👌
You two together is comedy golf gold! Playing golf with you two would be hilarious but my golf memories from when I first started were at a par 3 pitch and putt and it helped me a tonne to get me into golf
Looking forward to this series. Love Chris's humor and his nonchalant approach. And your "get in" fist 👊 pump
Playing golf with you two must be so chilling. looking forward to more of these Golf Catcher Fridays.
I started playing at Tinsley GC & Rothervalley GC. I always remember Bondhay Gc as its my nemesis course and theres that much sand its like playing at Skeggy lmao.....Great vid guys

Great vid guys I've just rejoined my childhood club Newmills GC in Derbyshire after 23 years loving it your more than welcome to come and visit

Stayed to the end. Love the format thanks Guys!

“That stroke was like Zorro an’ all”.
That made me laugh 😂
Not a member but local to you. Played Wortley a few times.
Playing Woolley tomorrow and Hillsborough Tuesday.
All very good courses on the doorstep.
If you ever find yourself in Edinburgh, come play at Swanston. Best views in Edinburgh can see all the way to Fife and down to East Lothian. It's windy as feck and the gorse rips you a new one if you end up anywhere near it... so fun!

That Par 5 , I remember they lengthened the hole quite a bit , old green was on the right hand side as you walk downhill

Got your self up to Hillsborough for a knock
James do you feel you early extend on your golf swing. Just looks like it on a few of your shots. Just wondering if you will have a coach take a look at it.
Great series would be great if you played Ifield down south bit of a journey. Keep up the good work lads

Starting with a 3 putt. I can relate to that! Fun to watch.
Did you miss a couple of bleeps on the 2nd par 3 just after you said about the green keepers dog.😂😂😂😂🤩🤩🤩🤩
Enjoyed. Nice to play with your mates
Owston Park 9 Hope Golf course in Doncaster, South Yorkshire! Budget golf course where so many players start playing golf and end up hooked!

Chris is the best complement to James. Fine comic duo.
James! You’re thinking about that odyssey #7 back in the bag 😉
Do you have a pre game warm up? If so what does it look like.
It would be great if you both could come down to eastsussex I play at willingdon golf club which I have been at for 2 years now I used to play at Eastbourne downs where I started

😂
member of Portstewart golf Club since junior - first course member of developed skills - love yous to come and play
Love the concept, but would still like for the full 18 to be played. Nothing like listening in on a couple mates bantering.
Great video guys
Doubt you'll be heading to NY on this series? Ah, well I'll be watching anyway.
If you guys fancy a TGCIF up in Scotland at my home track. I’d be happy to accommodate you. PS the views are spectacular at West Lothian
18 hole match play would be fun but with a whole set of clubs and a buggy for James’ knee😂
Fire up the Porsche and come down to Oxford GC - the oldest golf course in Oxford - and well known for the best and fastest greens (up and around 13' on the stimp for the recent Jamega event) in the area. I'll host you both and I might even buy Chris a coffee!

Just wish you zoomed in after the shots get hit, especially into greens! :)))
I'd like to see 18 holes of stroke play where the guys are just trying their best to score. With all their clubs.
Love Chris's sense of humour! So dry! Also, what's up with the shot tracer? Not too accurate.
