Hey Everyone! If you enjoyed this run and would like to see any parts you might've missed, the full run will be up on my VODS channel within 24 hrs! (The vids are currently processing) Subscribe here: ua-cam.com/channels/nKsfh3C5e436XFlYfqrMjQ.html Thanks for watching guys, and just as an FYI, I plan on doing this run with TRUE All Bosses in Elden Ring soon so look out for that!
Thanks for the VOD channel Dist. Been following you since DS2. Those were the days - with you, Elajjas, Santzo, and Noobest competing. You even visited my hometown in Sweden for the speedrun event but I missed it. Otherwise I'd come and throw IKEA meatballs on you (out of respect).
I got away from watching Dist videos for a while, but find them much more enjoyable now that Dist also seems to be enjoying himself more. Seems like a marked shift from a year ago.
When you're nodding off, half awake/asleep hearing the screams and monsters of Bloodborne in your ear is horrifying. Good shit, my nightmares be damned.
Zweihander is my favorite weapon, then the Claymore and Black Knight Glaive. Also really like the Blue Flame and Blue Blood Sword. Also, Dragonbone Smasher with the cracked Beast Talisman and cursed weapon
noticed that as well and i think he's just standing in a confusing spot when applying the pine resin or whatever the enhancement item is. i could be wrong tho
That's funny, I did a similar-ish run in Elden Ring recently, and it's the most fun I've had with the game since it came out. New weapon for every Rememberance - also region locked myself, can't go to Liurnia until I kill Godrick, can't go to Altus until I kill Renalla, etc. Definitely ended the issue that powerleveling early on is way too easy, and I got to try weapons I normally wouldn't use. Great run, I highly recommend it if you're looking for a new way to play the game. Main difference is that I didn't discard every weapon, but that's only because I wanted to take that character into NG+ and save myself the hassle of upgrading again, but same principle.
"What should I do for Quelaag? Claymore? Claymore sounds good", suddenly fighting Quelaag with War Pick. That, ladies and gentlemen, is how good video editing is done.
Great run as usual! I thought it was gonna be, if you use a weapon in one game you can't use it in a later game. Would have made the souls games and ER require a lot more thought. Still fun to watch!
Hand of ebreitas automatically parries an enemy or you, and you can also riposte an enemy even if they're already dead as long as they're in the party position; the same could happen to you.
This is why you are above all other souls streamers.. It was good to remember old bosses! From soulborne channel to another - "may the ashen be with you"
I remember watching this live and falling asleep due to boredom, but watching this video was awesome af. It glued me infront of my screen. Thank you Zero!
The only use I know for the beast cutter is that the whip form is so big you can clip the key holding brainsucker in the upper cathedral ward through a door, which makes it walk against it to attack you. Then you can just kill it through the door to get the key early without going through brainsucker hell. So at least it has 1 redeeming quality. Unlike the Beasthunter Saif.
1:31:06 also, I think this is that boss who commits seppoku(putting a sword thru his own stomach in the case) if u beat him without taking any damage. Try it.
Honestly I'd love to see a challenge like, beating every boss with their own boss weapons, ik it'd require some mods and a lil cheating but it would be so much fun to watch something like that, cause not all the weapons are good and alot of them are super different and interesting too.
@@Godlikushi hmmmm technically the serpent sword is the sword for it so technically that does make it it's boss weapon, plus there are some bosses that only give spells and not a weapon so I thought those should be allowed as well.
Shooting an Arrow to the Boobs of a Godess is just wrong in soo many Ways Dude. I Love that Moment were the Silver Knight in DS 3 Starres at a Painting of her s. Makes me Smile EVERY Time.
1:24 no duh you're not supposed to kill him, that's why they made it to where you get killed by the dragon god in a cutscene if you do manage to kill vanguard.
53:07 dsnt this wheel remind u of those enemies in berserk!? 🤘🏼👍🏼 Also, I constantly feel like the entire franchise is lowkey inspired by berserk in many ways. It seems like that was true (without ever having to say out loud) wen there were those sword thingies at many places in the game Elden ring. Elden ring was my first ever souls game. Have ds3 but gave up on that real quick since it was too time consuming to get into it all deeply. Now I'm finally playing elden ring nd will definitely beat it this time. Will then pick up ds3 again and try my best to do the same there as well. I feel like elden ring is easier in regards since u can make urself somewhat OP due to the open world setting and hence can atleast indirectly drop the difficulty level to at least a medium. Anyway, hope ur all having a great time. Take care nd enjoy. 👍🏼🤘🏼
i immediately thought you could cheese a few with shields commeting thjis at like the first 5 minutes im excited to see if you use more than the offensive shields to save on weapons.
alright i can handle people shitting on my beloved axe but the amygdalan arm is where i draw the line that weapons fucks so hard and it just looks good has insane range in scythe form has a fairly good rally potential and is pretty easy to grab plus both forms are one handed
They’re very weak to thrusting attacks. So, it would seem, are you. How did you die to emissary but not Ludwig??? You beat amygdala to death with her own arm. 😂
great idea, though i wish there was a focus on the more unique weapons, instead of the same most basic gear each game, and only a few outliers. although i generally don't like speed running for its focus on being efficient
I fr don't get the hate on DS2. Especially when people that hate on it enjoy Demon Souls. Can someone please explain? Like the aesthetic is great, the music is good and power stancing is fun as hell. I always loved DS2.
It isn't made by Mayazaki , so the dumbass community that gatekeeps summons and magic builds can't imagine something different , which is how DS3 got it's loved name other than couple of its bosses
Wing of Astel is insanely good against the Elden Beast. Just run to its side at the beginning when it starts spewing fire and spam the weapon art. With a bit of luck you can get it down to only a quarter of hp left before it even moves for the first time, it just melts.
Man ds3 Must be super hard to do this I mean having to swap weapon every single bossfight Idk I just can’t think of any way to get a new weapon after a boss If only there was some easy way to just get one weapon per boss idk though
The difficulty isn't in getting a weapon, it's getting something that isn't trash and saving the good ones for when you need them. You can get hollowslayer sword early, but it's good against gael so save it.
Dis, you make really entertaining content, still imma need a dist and zero Lenny colab soon as possible though I’ll give you 300 days #challenge issued

i havent really shifted away from his videos but i also noticed the difference. maybe elden ring heals
Elden ring saves lives and careers
Elden Ring money.

My toddler does a 1:1 impression of Cleric Beast whenever I try to brush his teeth.
@@lobstrosity7163 lmao
Idk I had a nice two hour nap during the bloodborne section, had to go back a couple vids cause of it lmao
What I love about this is you get to see different play styles for each boss / weapon. Especially BB.
“Amygdalan Arm is kinda shit”
*weeping cuz it’s my favorite weapon*
And then he took it back when he saw how it dealt with the boss pretty nicely.
I can't help but find the flamelurker fight kind of hilarious. Imagine stabbing a fire demon to death with a knife covered in nut.
Awesome! Also I like how this gives some more underrated weapons a chance to shine!
43:00 There's a glitch that causes wet nurse to take double damage from poison! Same applies to Orphan of Kos. Limit Breakers has a video on it
Zweihander is my favorite weapon, then the Claymore and Black Knight Glaive. Also really like the Blue Flame and Blue Blood Sword. Also, Dragonbone Smasher with the cracked Beast Talisman and cursed weapon
Love your streams dude, great gameplay, chill commentary, and good for learning these games.
2:39 How have I never seen this before? You can light a spear on the torches in that boss fight?! Demon's Souls holds some secrets!
noticed that as well and i think he's just standing in a confusing spot when applying the pine resin or whatever the enhancement item is. i could be wrong tho
You probably know this by now but he just used the regular flame resin next to the torch

Not a bad idea tbh but I didn't have a route going into this so that wouldn't have gone too well 😀

The ds2 segment is just full of examples of how good Ds2’s hitboxes are. Especially the fume and smelter demon fight
I sure hope you are kidding

I’m not sure if anyone else agrees with me but every time I look at demon souls I just don’t think it looks like a souls game, you know?
I’ve been watching Dist since he only had a couple thousand subscribers and it makes me so happy to see him more than a third the way to a million (:
Hey, I really enjoy these past videos. Keep it up
The DS3 run was like watching poetry, if that was a thing. And that dancer fight… masterful.
Honestly keeping the maneaters AI from the first game made that fight so enjoyable for me, after the hellscape that 3-2 is I needed something goofy
Puting all souls bosses in just one video, i see you're a man of culture as well
One of THE most Entertaining Dist Videos i ve ever seen.

I love that all bosses in elden ring would more than double the bosses for all the other games combined and if you add the dlc it like triples them
For the People that Still Play DS III A Dark Inf Greataxe is REALLY good vs these Fat Golden Angels. with the Hornet Ring and the Dark Claw.
Nice video as always, cheers
1:06:46 I agree with Grilloxidante, Bozo was Manus
Should have booted up Sekiro, killed Genichiro, then immediately quit
you can feel the difference in how much dist enjoys himself playing base ds2 rather than scholar. One is like goofy but fun and the other is a chore.
editing this must have been hard. Very grateful
This man just called the Beast Cutter shit not knowing it's pancake power.
I saw several bosses die to gravity. This means that different abysses are different weapons :mindblown:
