This is so unbelievably true. Motivation is like laying the groundwork for the mind, and the spirit, which then creates the basis of the quality and execution of the action that follows. Discipline is a practice, and an action that is first cultivated in the mind and character of a person. This gets cultivated and implemented once a person has the confidence and mental groundwork to achieve the discipline, and the best discipline is created in the basis of believing in oneself not in the fear of the consequences of non discipline. This channel has literally saved my life. I watch your content every day, I put it on when I work out, when I clean my home, when I drive my car. Through your content I have put so much good into myself and who I strive every moment to become that it has pushed all the bad, the grief, the pain out. Like you said when you fall from being in the hands of motivation and cultivation of the betterment of self you land at a higher place - I couldn’t agree more. I am myself a fitness athlete as well and motivation and filling myself with the truth and the good from all of these speakers has made me a better athlete, as it has also made me a better mother and woman as well. This is actually a really great video, motivation definitely has its place 100%! I’m ex military, I exercise everyday, gym, cardio and mixed martial arts. I do gym 5 days a week, MMA 6 days a week and a form of cardio 7 days a week usually Sundays is active recovery style cardio. Now I love to listen to motivational speeches not just to get me going but more so for all the positive messages that lift me up mentally. I am extremely self disciplined, I will do everything I have to whether I feel like it or not. Some days listening to motivational speeches just really picks up that mood and gets me going but there are days where motivation just isn’t enough that is where discipline takes over. I might be tired had a bad night sleep whatever and no motivational speeches is going to wake me up and out a spring in my step but discipline will get me up and out that door every time. So motivation is definitely not garbage, I believe it is what begins a lot of positive habits it is what starts the road to discipline but only if you have a goal and a plan!
Lol! 🔥 So on point. Yesterday I was reflecting on this exact topic. I was feeling an energetic block in the personal & creative department. Then I started pursuing through some personal works and journals.
I felt a shift start from that.
I was a little surprised that I was feeding my own fire.
You're right ! Energetic exchange from people who are in that flow and reprogramming the neural synaptic firing is a powerful tool in the tool box .
Motivation is that grain of sand that makes the pearl. Without that fire , passion , upliftment or irritation and being uncomfortable you will become stagnant over time. I feel anyways.

Listening to motivation speeches or other things like intense music can definitely be used to push boundaries a little.
I just see the problem and have experienced it where these things become a crutch and increase dissociative tendencies in many people especially in our day and age.
It’s important to listen to the bodies signals, putting your attention on a motivational speech makes it harder to listen to the body, hence you can push past your limits. Do this often and you will ramp up stress, need more coffee/other ways of dealing with your stress, most likely develop bodily pain and other seemingly unexplainable symptoms.
Yes use it sparingly like a coffee or a drink once in a while, but be careful not to oversteers your system. Getting pumped on music or a speech is a stressor. Doing it to avoid feeling bad won’t help you in the long run. Maybe your body is trying to tell you something when it says stop, just maybe🍀
I find myself often to be sparked by the idea i have, because I flow and then along the path there is idea after idea. But as you said, then there is diszipline needed. And often some stuff happening that i loose focus. It drains the motivation and i loose my inner focus. After it gets more hard to come back. Also of course it needs relaxing time in between. But truely i am scared, if things take too long. It is my biggest enemy on motivation.
Mostly emotional stuff can truely keep me off going.
The best motivation comes from people who faced the hardest battles, so i think people whose suffering should go take that cabbage, another mens motivation can be the next mens survival guide

No its not, literally produces dopamine. Emotional pushes not only produce it but adds to it when you do other activities.
Discipline is ugly and is inly viable long term when it becomes autonomous.
