You might try the Weleda lotion as opposed to cream as lotion is lighter than cream. I stitched A Year at HRH and used etoille for the fireworks in the July block and lived the effect. I also used DMC 939 for the night sky in the December block. I thought it covered better than the called for 310. Project Bag is lovely. Plum 14 count fabric is very nice and the pink fabric is super. 🎉 I live in southeast Texas.
