Hello Daniel! I bought the brushes but I’ve got a question, what’s the purpose of the Boolean cutters? If I have to print the ring to make a mold should I have to use them or it’s better without? I’m asking it because if I keep them active they will cut the prongs to. Sorry for the question but I’ve never made a pavè in my life :)
@@TheDangDaniel thank you so much for the tip! What about the brush size? If I have to make settings for stones of 2.5mm how can I calculate how to set the brush size?
@@TheDangDaniel I forgot asking about the curve and the negative depth, they must be always 0.8 and negative 30 or they will change as well with the stones size?
@@nicolap.6628 That is tricky. What I do is use "IMM Draw Size" plug-in, and I will make an object (like just a sphere) that I KNOW will be 2.5mm, then I will adjust the gem brush size to match the sphere. Here is a link to the IMM Draw Size tutorial too : ua-cam.com/video/BDeTX4q54Wc/v-deo.html
amazing. Would you still suggest sticking to Matrix for this or ZBrush as an alternative? Thank you
Thank you! This is more for people who don't have access to matrix, but if you have it I would suggest using it for gem settings
Is this available as obj to import into other software programmes like Nomad Sculpt?
Yes they are. Follow the link in the description to get them :)
@@TheDangDaniel Thank you.
Can you send a library of different sizes from .8mm to 2.0mm. I’m willing to compensate
A library of what?

Hi Nicola! I would use them, yes, and if you put the prongs *below* the cutters in the subtool order, the cutters shouldn't affect them :)
