Dear friend, the dimensions menu shows dimensions in X,Y,Z, but not linear dimensions. For example, if a cube with a side of 2 mm is rotated slightly along any of the axes, and then add it as a subtool, its size will remain 2 mm, but the side will decrease. This means that it is more correct to change the linear dimensions of any body by calibration through the PREFERENCES menu, but not through the SIZE menu. Thank you for your work. Best wishes.
Please, someone help me with this! When I'm measuring this, using this method, my ring is showing as 8 units when measured, but in my Geometry- size menu it's 23! When I'm measuring a cube, it's consistent. But when I measure the jewellery I'm trying to print, it's completely random and it makes no sense! Why is this happening!
Hello, we will get you an answer. Our Tech Team will take a look into this issue and relay back to us the best fix for your situtation! Thanks for watching, we will let you know what our Tech Team says!
Hello, our Tech Team got back to us. They said that the first thing that they would check is under the Export palette on the right side of the screen. Inside the Export palette the slider under “Scale” should read 1. Various things can change that scaling but if it’s 1, the Size menu in the Geometry pallete and the Transpose line should be equal. We hope this is helpful for you. Fell free to let us know if you need any further assistance.
@@RioGrande1944 Hello! Thank you for messaging, I'm really grateful for your reply! However, I don't have a slider called Scale under the export menus on the right. Do you have an email or anything, where I can send you screenshots?

Excellent! Thank you for the feedback.
Do you know how to measure circumference of an object?
Great vid, thanks
Excellent! On point; measurements in Zbrush are a bit obfuscated. Thanks for the clarity.
Glad it was helpful!
