What's really strange is that no one really seems to have any insight into what's happening and when or if we can expect a recovery

What do you think is the future of remote work? I have tasted it while and after coving and really like it.
Personally don't fault it. I think it's great and gives a lot of opportunities and broadens the reach of talents. But then, I have had to be at the office on a big NDA show and it was great being back at the office. The dynamics are so different and was pleasant being back in. Nonetheless, I think remote work should remain and be an option for people to chose, or as it's commonly happening, a hybrid method, with some days at the office.
@@TheVFXArtistsPodcast in my case, I'm a russian currently located in Spain, it's the only option. Fingers crossed.
@dennistsoi9404 absolutely! I’m sure it will continue to be allowed. You’ll be fine I’m sure!
This is a really good point. If you have the choice of hiring someone in Asia or South America where 50% of the North American or European salary would be an amazing opportunity, why would employers hire local. I bet yah AI and AI tools are also going to cut in to this industry!
Still a struggle to find a fair job with fair pay
