i activated it, and if you do'nt care about ponctuation, then it's fine. But i would love to see it on a discord with many voices speaking at the same time.
I'm happy you got back in Blizz's good graces as I think you're the kind of person with the right ideas of which way to take the game to improve on what we have and it saddened me that the XP pot thing might've spelled an end to that. But that doesn't seem to be the case anymore, so that's great. Please be very, very careful with any kind of 'clever use of game mechanics' in the future though. Keep up the good work man.
15:37 My Mom had a coworker who was born with her right arm undeveloped. Her arm ended shortly after her elbow. You could see tiny little fingertips but otherwise it was just a nub. Well, one day my Mom introduced this coworker to her best friend. My Mom's friend didn't want to offend her, so she waited until the coworker was out of earshot and asked my Mom what happened. So my Mom told her this horrible story about how her coworker had grown up in an abusive home, and one day her Mom turned on the garbage disposal and shoved her arm in. Her friend got horrified and then my Mom said "I'm just kidding, she was born like that."
our guild was progressing on G'huun heroic. we cleared up to him on farm night, then left and did mythic Taloc because we had it on farm. this meant that we could do G'huun on prog night when everyone was fresh. this didn't sit well with a few guildies who wanted AOTC. bear in mind this was nowhere near the release of BoD so there was still plenty of time. anyway, they all decided on one night to leave the guild (there were about 4-5 of them). this destroyed our mythic roster a bit but we had enough to do heroic G'huun. so we enter the next night and promptly one shot heroic G'huun. ironically the guildies that left didn't get AOTC until a month or so later (and some didn't get it at all) so jokes on them I guess
Glad they reached out and you guys can work together moving forward. Also, would love to hear more of your thought about how the new essences are going to impact the power gap between players. A bit concerned some of my frined will find themselves on the wrong side of the power curve come 8.2
14:45 "The Doctor was making ableist jokes" is either the only part of the story that's bullshit, _or_ the only part of the story that isn't bullshit. Calling it now.
15:00 it's like in Seinfeld, when Jerry's dentist converts from Catholicism to Judaism and then starts making a bunch of antisemitic jokes, because he's Jewish now so he can get away with it. So Jerry goes to his dentist's old priest and complains. Jerry: I think he converted to Judaism just for the jokes. Priest: And this offends you as a Jew? Jerry: No, it offends me as a comedian!
Mike my dear friend, you should honestly do drama time more often, i know you would have a schedule but i honestly don't think a single one of your fans would complain, i honestly think everyone would enjoy it.
lol I swear that first guy (the liar) is the same person I ran into on a free form text based D&D site I used to roleplay on! Constantly would hear how his aneurysm was "acting up" and he was on his laptop in the hospital. Only difference is he didn't claim to be rich, however this was quite a few years ago (probably around 12-13 years ago). Me and my friends on there would just roll our eyes and go on with our RP.
I actually knew a guy on guild wars 1 who had a similar sad story as the guy on “the liar.” No wife, kids or rich but sad and unbelievable just the same. Except in time I actually came to believe it. His name was Jedi. He would main a ritualist. He claimed he lost his thumb and several fingers in a work accident. Wasn’t super rich but had enough money that he didn’t need to work anymore. Which I found out to be true bc he was always online. And he said the he makes a good bit of money bc he lost his thumb. Your thumb is worth more than other fingers bc u need it for more stuff. The other part of the story that made it more believable is he could only play a spirit spammer ritualist since he was missing several fingers. Spirits lasting 30 secs or more so it was a rotation he could easily play with only a few fingers. Later in nightfall he also made a dervish another class he could play putting his enchantments on (buffs/bubbles) and then attack like a aoe warrior. He was a great officer and always on and was clearly older in his 40’s or 50’s. But that’s all he could play. So in this case I think his story was true. Lol that or he went to great lengths to commit.
Joined a guild in WotLK for about 2 weeks. The GM really seemed to know what he was talking about and had great ideas about how to design a guild (which were a little out-dated for the catch-up mechanics in WotLK, but he seemed to have good ideas so I rolled with it). Was always bragging about how great he was and how as a Paladin he held all sorts of records back in Vanilla. Sounded like a load of bull, but I hadn't had a chance to see what he can do so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Then one day, he told me never to battle rez a tank, because it was a waste of a rez. They would never be able to catch up on threat, so it was pointless. I said, "um...they could taunt?" He didn't believe me that Taunt would put them on top of the threat table. Thought it would only force aggro until Taunt expired. In spite of my insistence that I've battle rezzed hundreds of tanks before and they've gone to the top of the threat meter, that EVERY guide I've ever read has said that's how taunt works, and that the DK AotD threat boost trick is built around that mechanic, he refused to believe me unless I could go to World of Logs and find a source of Taunt putting a tank on top of threat. I understand wanting someone to cite their source, but that was the ONLY source he'd accept. And I don't think World of Logs keeps detail that granular to be able to find when a tank taunted and what effect that specific taunt had on threat. I quickly left that guild.
Bellular was born with glass bones and paper skin, every morning he breaks his legs, and every afternoon he breaks his arms. At night he lies awake in agony until his heart attacks put him to sleep.
If I had a penny for every time someone in my guild made up having a family and job, I could probably pay a month of WoW sub! I dont understand why people go for this particular lie so much, but its so obvious sometimes when people do it.
I've known someone just like this, playing on a very old text based game where new players were few and old players grew up there literally, the kind of place where you learn to tell who is who by how they type when they make new characters and there are only 5-15 people online at any given time. This random shows up, eager and friendly and so full of endless lies that made no difference to anything. Made new characters while claiming to not be the previous ones each time with different wildly full of lies lives. One incarnation of them claimed to have met a fellow player of the game at work in real life that day, a female player no less. I was already doubtful but at that time it was a verifiable fact that none of our female players were active, the only female was part of the staff and it was not her, I asked. Every other player was a known male and nearly all of them lived in a different country than the liar, many people were IRL friends and everyone was accounted for as the playerbase had known each other by then for between 8 and 18 years or longer on average. It was one of the most exhausting experiences talking to that person, if their life were even 10% as eventful as they claimed I think they'd be exhausted too. That lie always stuck with me for being so damn flagrant and bad. TLDR: Person lies so hard so fast that they expose themselves immediately.
I feel genuinely sorry for people who feel so badly about themselves that this seems like an acceptable solution to get attention they so desperately want.
Thank god blizz came to their senses and didn't ostracize him for good. Mike has the kind of ideas that the devs really could maybe use, at least to some degree.
That Trogg cave? That was no shit tough. The very first character I created during Vanilla was a Dwarf Rogue. That shit sucked. Also, fwiw: when I first subbed was when I saw my first Drama Time. I didn’t quite get it but now, after almost a year, I totally get it and I wait for these videos every fucking week ✊🏻
I'll teach you how to play wow If you come for a coffee with me...……. that night they re enact the pottery scene from Ghost, she's sitting there at the keyboard and mouse staring at her screen in confusion when he slowly slides in behind her slipping his hands on to hers showing her what and where to press LOL.
I lie.. a lot. Like, a lot. Not intentially, not because I -want- to, but there's a desperate desire for attention. I'm getting better at realizing Silence is Golden.
TBH, As a non-native English speaker with a lot of other likewise non-native English speaking friends, I've got enough practice with bad English writing to quite well understand you with CC on.
Have this friend to this day that keeps saying he has been in method, and he is a garbage player. i mean, sub standard casual player. Its pathetic and at the same time, funny af
gratz on the lines of communication with blizz :)
Mike is having way too much fun with Bellular's name.
"Queef from Galadrial" - and i lost it lmfao
Same, dude. When all you hear is this hoarse whistling sound cause you can't inhale for 8 seconds.
Can't wait til next week, when preach receives a photo in the mail of a one-legged guy wearing a hearing aid and a Google T-shirt holding twins
Russ Odoni Imagine lol
And a shirt that says “I ❤ Poland” lol 😂
20:35 The irony is that the CC option for this video has pretty accurate subtitles. :D
i activated it, and if you do'nt care about ponctuation, then it's fine. But i would love to see it on a discord with many voices speaking at the same time.
I turned on CC for this after your intro and it's actually not terrible.
Same here it was pretty accurate. Even spelled it "loo" instead of "loot" because of his English accent :)
First dude was probably a pathological liar. Some people just can't help it, especially in a setting like this...
"I really like the Lich King"... hmm, we can work with this.
I'm glad you put these on youtube. I never make the streams.
Fair haired? Hair on your head so fair it's invisible
The lighting probably doesn't help either.
Oh that’s so good. Bellular the Liar. I still check his channel out in ‘24 and am going to remind him of this.
So stoked that Blizz came to their senses. You're the best content creator the community has.
That whole first story could be summed up with:
Press X to Doubt
I'm happy you got back in Blizz's good graces as I think you're the kind of person with the right ideas of which way to take the game to improve on what we have and it saddened me that the XP pot thing might've spelled an end to that. Keep up the good work man.
Just pausing the video for a moment; really happy to hear that blizz and you are moving back to good relations!
Jokes that didn't age well:
"What did he do with the money? He went straight to the Bitcoin..."
15:37 My Mom had a coworker who was born with her right arm undeveloped. Her arm ended shortly after her elbow. You could see tiny little fingertips but otherwise it was just a nub.

I turned on the captions and it is actually really accurate
I don't what I expected, but 20minutes in and this has surpassed my wildest dreams.
So happy their not keeping you in the dark!
They obviously used you as that example, I think it worked out as well as it could mate!
Happy for ya
Glad they reached out and you guys can work together moving forward. Also, would love to hear more of your thought about how the new essences are going to impact the power gap between players. A bit concerned some of my frined will find themselves on the wrong side of the power curve come 8.2

You using bellular as a name, made the story 10x moer fun.
If you read this Preach, you have to get past about 2 weeks where it feels awful on your face, then after that feeling goes away.
I turned on CC. It was mostly good "except 'we got our loot' turned into 'we got our loo'". I also realized how much Preach says "Now".
This One - Legged Shaman doesn't know how the world works does he.

Mike my dear friend, you should honestly do drama time more often, i know you would have a schedule but i honestly don't think a single one of your fans would complain, i honestly think everyone would enjoy it.
Good to see ragna still promoting his karate
"We'll play on the desperation." Tactical decisions, boys. I'm crying laughing.

I think I had this guy in my guild on US proudmoore. Eternal kingdom. But he owned the Seattle Seahawks and a island.
I hit the like before I even heard the dramas

That guy who said he listens to these on the way to work made me think, ever thought about ripping the audio out of these and making a Podcast?
Well, as they say here in Australia, never let the truth get in the way of a good yarn (story).
YAY! Gratz on the Blizzard relations moving in a good direction. :)
PS: POLAND STRONK

"Set to marry next year" feels bad man
I got killed by murlocs in Vanilla as a rogue. Over and over again. They farmed my corpse.
The twitch chat on this video was 10/10.
You need to listen to The Beards. Only then, will all become clear.
I feel genuinely sorry for people who feel so badly about themselves that this seems like an acceptable solution to get attention they so desperately want.
YAY FOR BLIZZ SEEING THE LIGHT
"can we make a one legged joke there?" yes yes you can..... one leg was in the fire the other was out?
Thank god blizz came to their senses and didn't ostracize him for good. Mike has the kind of ideas that the devs really could maybe use, at least to some degree.
pic around 40 min made me miss Ghosty & Mike bants in dramatime.
Great news Preach!
this story was wonderful LUL
"I'll teach you to play if you go resto"
Every time I watch drama time and it gets to the end then you say that's it I always say nooooooo, More
Im very happy that Blizz decided to show mercy on you.
More like they couldn’t afford more bad press.
a true man embraces his beard
Hey Preacher! Would love to see a class ranking video with 8.2 coming up (since the promised 8.1 changes to e.g. enha never came through)!

Preach you just need to be patience and wait, You will love that facial hair like your own child. and it will stop itch.
RIP Bellular
I legitimately don't see what's so unbelievable about the beginning of the story. Lol
Itches for about 2 weeks, then its normal
I lie.. a lot. Like, a lot. Not intentially, not because I -want- to, but there's a desperate desire for attention. I'm getting better at realizing Silence is Golden.
feelgood stories are best
Beard stops being itchy after about a week
Great to hear about bliz!!!!
You gotta push through the itchy phase mate! it'll stop itching in a few days/weeks :D
TBH, As a non-native English speaker with a lot of other likewise non-native English speaking friends, I've got enough practice with bad English writing to quite well understand you with CC on.
Man! I fucking love Poland!
Some people think others will like them if they're interesting. But that's simply not true. People will like you if you make THEM feel interesting.
Feel interested in them** might be better
Big noting Preach, mate... that's all those sortta fellas do....
Lol...poor Bell...he has one leg
Have this friend to this day that keeps saying he has been in method, and he is a garbage player. i mean, sub standard casual player. Its pathetic and at the same time, funny af

Sounds totally real
You have been absolved of your sins child. Until next time. -blizz
Imagine wiping in Teldrassil, for real though...
In a late wrath patch too..
Preach, in time your face gets used to the itchy sensation. Then you stop noticing it. Shaving reverts this sensation.
Yeah... Emma won’t agree with that.
Like the March Bantz video, “I’ll stab you if you cry”.
The beard will get less itchy. I had the same problem at first.
lol dude could never commit to the bit.
this is some good trolling!
So you're thinking to yourself - uh huh
It should have been Lore.
I have no idea what you are talking about preach. My face never itches, nor is my beard disgusting.
