- The Ikonta 524/2 made by Zeiss Ikon. This medium format camera uses 120 film. Photo format of 6x9 so get 8 photos on 120 film. Makes very nice landscape camera and the 6x9 format cam=n be used to make Panama landscapes.

Anyone shoot 6x9 camera?
I have the Ferrania Falco II and the Voigtlander Bessa II love em to bits. XX but that Super Ikonta,..........GAS flaring up again cheers
I have a Zeiss Ikon 515 too and that is so compact. Great images too.
Hey Dennis nice work mate. I love old folders have a few now. My faves by far are the Ferrania Falco II 6x9 just because it looks the park proper Italian style, I have the Voigtlander bessa II 6x9 which is gorgeous and the 6x6 Zeiss Ikonta M. If I had to pick one it would be the Zeiss as the viewfinder is far easier to use than the Bessa. Saying that I'm planning to shoot the Bessa this weekend with a view to making 8 panoramas can't wait I'll post the vid on my chan. Oh and if I spot a super Ikonta locally I'm having one. Hi Dennis, I just found your excellent channel after buying a Zeiss Ikon 524/2. You mentioned you have a problem on your top shutter button. With these cameras, the shutter button is only armed when the film has been would on to a fresh film frame. You can then set the shutter lever on the lens and the button by the winding knob will now depress. Give it a try. Let me know how you get on.
hey! id like to know about the 5 min fix for the shutter since mine wont trigger, so i usually just trigger from the bottom of the lens
