  • Lately I've been playing with making wire rings. This one is so simple but really lovely. It's also adjustable so you don't need to worry too much about getting it to be the perfect size. It's also a great gift idea if you don't know the person's ring size. If you're interested in more jewelry making tutorials, then please subscribe.

    Greetings from France.🤩 watched many of your videos, I SUBSCRIBED. I LOVE this technique of ring making. I have to look for my ring mandrel. I was recommended 20 gauge wire, bought it 2 months ago and it's still lying in its box 😥. Jewelry making and crochet I "swore" I would NEVER attempt but I got a "click" 4 years ago after watching a lady making a Tiara. Bought 7 sets and got HOOKED, gave all to friends who DISGUSTINGLY SOLD THEM. At the same time I was "dying" to crochet a scarf and watched a video on how to crochet a BOLERO a very tough project. Watched the video two times and attempted to crochet the bolero. It took me 15 days (5h/day) to complete my project. Got HOOKED again. Finally I made 7 of them to give away feeling proud of myself. I am an addicted crafter and knitter and TODAY I've become an addicted BEADER and CROCHETER. Thanks for all your help and kindness in sharing your skills and helping BEGINNERS to progress. A big hug🥰👍👍👍👍💕💕💕💐💐💐

      Thank you so much. It sounds like you've been busy! My grandmother taught me to crochet but she was left handed. When my mother saw me, years later, she laughed and asked why I was using such an awkward method. I would be disgusted with my friends too - love the idea of a tiara!

    Beautiful NZ accent and thankyou for this tutorial. There aren't too many 16 gauge wire ring tutorials. I'll be checking to see if you have any videos on here using 16 gauge wire with gems

      @@The_Stylish_Maker wondering if you would consider doing a video on how your store your supplies? In watching your videos, I know you have shelves, etc; but how do you remember what you have? Do you store by colour, by bead size?
      I'm struggling and hope you can lend tips and tricks.

      Yes, it's definitely on my list of to dos. I actually did it in my membership group a while ago but haven't shared one with the wider community.

    Do you recommend using only copper or aluminum wire for it's maneuverability or could one use stainless steel or sterling silver wire?

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  8 місяців тому

      Great question, Tiffany. I wouldn't recommend either sterling or aluminium as they are too soft. Either a half hard or hard wire is best.
