Great job on the filming! I can't tell you how much this video means to me. I don't listen to rock music much, but that Foo Fighters song always made me think of combines going through the fields in the fall harvest -- it just triggers those memories for some reason. Anyway, it made my day today... thank you so much!
you might want to compare it to a cat. we have one and it is absolutely OUTSTANDING! we have never had a better machine. power, efficiency, and holy shit are words that come to mind when you see one of those machines. a friend of mine just baught a 9660 JD and they were losing 6-8 bushel an acre. they confronted the local dealer and they said it was an exceptable loss for a JD combine. a week later they had a red one
damn sorry to hear that we started today because of rain yesterday we were picking 5 mph on 30 to 40 bushels a acre of oats picking 2 inchs off of the ground most of the oat stalks were 2 to 3 feet tall but it aint about the combine it really comes down to the conditions and it was hot as 40 hells here today so the stalks were dry as hell had to speed the cutter bar up to pick as fast we also have a new auger with the prongs on it where it drags it on in I hope to get sum videos up here soon
Don't you have to also worry about soil compaction and displacemenet? Or mainly worry about just getting the corn out of the field? I know most of the guys around here are running very late harvesting bc of the rains.
8 mph!?!?! holy crap!! we have a cat combine on tracks with a 30ft platform and we go 4-6 mph. How can your grain loss not be way up when going 8 mph? What class is a 9610 in? How fast it the 9120 going in the video?
The combine with tracks will go through mud like crazy, and it doesn't leave a deep track like it would just having a mudhog, however this combine has a mud hog as well! Wait till I get the Corn harvest video put up, to see MUD!!!!!!!!!!!!
man that is awsome, it looks like you're haulin ass! you should put a 595r right next to it and the would be the best fricken thing ever. Case and Cat all the way!!!
That looks great but it sure should cut better than what I saw at 2:10. Nice job stitching the video together, I would rather have motor noise over the music, even though the tune you chose was one I liked as well.
I have herd the cats are bad ass but im here to tell you my dad worked for a guy here in nc who runs 3 8010 combines there case and they lose 10 times as much as the deeres do the guy I currently work for runs a 9770 with a air head on it he dont lose any off of the head period mabey a bushel goes thru the combine some how or anuther but not much now i herd the gleaners are badass never ran one of them tho
a 9610 is a john deere it would be a class 8 the throat on it is as wide as a cats it takes it in and as long as it goes in its good as for the bean loss we have a pipe on the head right behind the cutter bar to stop the beans from rolling out I live in NC its always muggy high moisture in the air kinda keeps the bean hulls together until they get into the combine everything has to be just right he was probally goin 8 I dont know its not my video
Hmm.....That don't sound right, we got a 25 ft head on our NH tr 97 and can go 3.5 mph. it just loses power, i drove a 9870 jd last year with a 30 ft head and could go 5.5 to 6 mph
whats impossible we start picking wheat and oats tommarow and gurantee you my bossman will have his 25 foot head draggin the ground so we can bale behind it and promise you he will be haulin ass will come back with the details of how fast it looks to be a good crop how about yours
i think 10 times as much is exagerating a little to much. if you really think about it it really comes down to the hybrid you planted and how you have the combine set. I heard the gleaners give you a very clean crop but you dont have the capacity like the cats
hahaha who said I liked the rotor type combines the baddest combines in the world are cat lexion claas and they are walker tine just like our 9610 btw a case will never be a new holland new holland may own case but they are built at 2 seperate plants under 2 different designs
bom video gostei muito... a tecnologia de vc´s são mais avançadas q as nossas... a sorte de vc´s q ai tem o subsidio do governo... só q acho q vc´s logo vão perder o subsidio.....
you really have no idea do you every combine will lose grain no matter what no combine can get it all but I have yet to see a combine to hang with and leave less behind it than any combine the only one I have not compared it to is a cat combine even a gleaner will leave more than that its not the combine its the operator if you dont believe it bring your ass to sampson county and hang with the big boys

It sure rides smooth!
That combine looks mean!
Nice machine.
What gets through more mud a combine like this on tracks or a 4 wheel drive combine?

Great job there. Hows the yield?

wow..that thing looks crazy wide, haha...sweet ride tho, i'd like to try it out in the hills in the northwest
barncrew20 Narrower than a dualed machine.
