Try using a brush/squeegee combo. Get down into rough section and get thinner coat/ more coverage

Great job! Question, I also have an old asphalt driveway that I planon repairing ans sealing. Your thoughts on using a brush (push broom, to get into the nooks) on the first coat instead of a squigie?

I would definitely give a broom a try. There was comment on here that you can buy a brush specifically for that situation that has a blade and brush together.
