I'm really frustrated that Brynn had to compete in the senior division. We all know she would have placed first in the teen division, as she has consistently throughout the season. Both girls who placed ahead of her are 16 years old, and that says something! The whole point of having age divisions is so things are fair in terms of the training level and maturity expected of your age group. You can't deny that putting her up against girls 3 years older isn't a fair assessment of her skill. Idk I just feel like Abby/Lifetime would have never let this happen with Maddie; she would never have been expected to compete in the Senior category (heck, Kalani just started competing in the Senior category herself!).
Come on! Brynn did amazing but for nationals and what I think is the last episode (not too sure) Brynn should of been doing more mature coreography like she did back with Club Dance. This is a joke, she went up against Kalani who had a mature Contemporary piece and a three year age gap how was she supposed to win. This dance was better than her usual ALDC solos but they could showcase her Contemporary skills more.
The solo is fine for shere she's at in her training. It's quite easy artistically so it's not too hard. Her problem is she dances with a blank face half the time. She's improving in that area but she's got more work to do. Bryn is not mature enough to pull of a Kalani solo and artistically she's behind other kids her age. so why give her something she'll mess up for nationals . But Kalani is amazing on both fronts
Dancing Edits Angry butthurt obsessive fan much. Your reading comprehension is awful. I said Brynn is not mature enough to pull off a Kalani solo. Not Brynn is not mature. Kalani's solo would have done her a disservice because she wouldn't have coped. Yes I've seen Brynn's other solos (the argument for every obsessive fan) and they were techncially great but artistically not moving. She's improving in that area but no. No flourishes or nuances or stamp of her own. Yes they win because these competitions place mroe emphasis on athleticism than artistry and a Junior?mini with that technique and physical repertoire is exciting. They rely too much on the music and choreography to make them artistic, not Brynn just letting go and showing her deepest feelings to the world how becoming one with the music.
"were technically great but artistically not moving" -> this is purely subjective, a matter of opinion, and one in which you are in the minority. No dance has ever moved me more than Enter One. It's still my favourite dance ever and still makes me cry at the sheer joy and innocence Brynn portrays. If you didn't like it or it didn't move you, that's fine and that's your opinion. But don't act like Brynn placed third here for any reason other than the fact that she's a 13 year old going up against seniors. She's been taking 1st the entire season when she's in her appropriate division. If she's not your favourite dancer and you just can't connect with her, fine; but objectively, she's a phenomenal dancer who would have took 1st in the appropriate division.
Mini: At or below 8 Junior: 9-11 Preteen: 12-13 (Sometimes competitions have no preteen divisions) Teen: 13-14 (sometimes 13-15) Seinor: 15-17 It's impossible for Brynn to be in the Senior division in a real competition. This was all staged by Lifetime.
snowfall221 I know this was a long time ago but actually in a real competition you can compete in a different division only if it's higher than your actual one ( can't see why anyone would do that lol) but I believe too that this competition was fake
this dance 100% was not choreographed for bryan, its more maddies style, she could've done so much more contemporary and mature choreography instead. it seems so rushed but i don't think that's brynns fault, more so how its choreographed.
this solo was literally goals. sooooo good! her and kalani nailed it! wish Brynn got 1st 2nd tho, but it's ok, still did amazing!
Flychlobird☼♫ She competed in the senior division. For a junior competing in the senior division, 3rd place is amazing!
Emilly Zalayet Brynn is a Teen, not a junior.

Aikisha Beckwith I soo agree with you, she should of been placed in her category, had she been she would of come first.
I agree as lily and Eli where in the junior division but there normally in mini
Maddies last solo was competed in the senior division though and maddie has been bumped up into higher age categories so that's not exactly true

MissGGxox preach
MissGGxox yeah I 100% agree, she maybe beautiful Abby and you may want her to be the "new Maddie", but she will win with contemporary

If Lifetime just made Brynn not face Kalani and compete in teen instead of senior, Brynn would have probably won the teen division.

@@snowfall221 brynn was 14 at that time she should of been in teen. The producers wanted her to go against Kalani
Wow. I never realized how beautiful this solo was.
Brynn was gorgeous. Kira talked shit on this solo and they edited it to look crappy on the show, but it was actually so beautiful.
Brynn was beautiful I wish she placed higher
Moo moo Butler yeah me too but she was in the senior category which does t make sense
This is just beautiful💕
She deserves better ☹️

"Winner Takes All" By: Shay Watson FT. Emily Dibrito.
D A N C E R S x thank you ❤
The choreography is poor and this is what made brynn lose
She was channeling her inner maddie in this solo
Katie Curiel what do you mean by 'inner Maddie' ?
Katie Curiel no, she was being brynn.
