Great work. Easy to understand the method. Here's a tip for all...... put a magnet🧲 on your screw driver for a few days and let it magnetize the screw driver, then your tiny screws can be held to the screw driver as you fasten the base to the car.
I love learning new techniques and always improving my own customizations. I would do the buildup style with piping, but I love the idea of using the interior if possible to help lower the car. I also love the idea of plating the rear interior to hide any cuts you made. Awesome things to keep in mind for myself down the road. Maybe one day I can commission an art piece from you. I'm beginning to love and cherish custom builders more than RLC pieces. Customs have true heart and soul to them. I would love a Hewittz take on the hot wheels RWB Porsche. One day maybe.
Always appreciate a Hewittz video, thanks for the tips, I've been wanting to try customizing, for some time now..... The ideas are flowing, now! That Superbird is 🔥✌
I love these informational vids, man. Weird I just made a quickie-custom vid today. I’ve never raised or lowered a custom before, now I know how. Thank you for that. 👊
Very cool. Really enjoyed seeing how you do things. I'd like to see how you make all your detailed additions like the shifters, nos bottles, wheelie bars n such. 👍🏻✌🏻
I've only got a couple superbirds aswell yours turned out amazing. thx for the vid. I've never attempted a lowering yet so it was helpful giving us a couple options
Always cool to watch no matter what your doing. Thanks for the tips you rock. Great bird and drag car. If I don't get a chance to watch any more Merry Christmas to you and your family. Happy New Year to you also.
Hey brother, awesome video. I've used all these methods and I think they are pretty situational. Every car is different so it's good to have a bag of tricks for sure. That Superbird looks awesome!!! I only have one as well. It's a green one. That paint job on the mystery car looks really good. I think it's just like anything else in this hobby. How bad do you want it? It's not hard, it just takes effort. Great video brother 👊
That’s bad ass thank you I can’t believe it it’s awesome so awesome I don’t even deserve such a nice thing I can’t believe it unbelievable it’s awesome thank you
Sure you deserve it brother, just email me your address, at hewittzdiecast@gmail.com and I still have that zinger WAGON sitting to the side for you as well. Glad you like the truck my friend. 👍🏻✌😁
Congrats on the sale of the Jim Bob ride oh you wouldn't know about that lol on the TV show the Waltons Jim bob got his first car and the first thing he did to it was take all the fenders off and thus the first hot rod on Walton's Mountain lol ✌😎👌
@@narutowolf3749 I made a new video today asking about color preferences on the Superbird because I wanted gloss black, so I was taking a poll, not sure if you were serious about buying it, but figured if so, your color preference would be important 😁, not sure if you want to watch it and comment. I had someone else that says they want to buy it but want lime green, but you asked 1st so I don't want to let someone come before you. ✌
The orange hot rod turned out real nice 👍 Good to hear you sold her quick.
Thanks brother 🙏

Thanks my friend, and great tip. But these are stainless steel screws, not really magnetic 👍🏻✌😁
