I was fortunate enough to see them 3 times when Charlotte was still there, and it absolutely blew my mind. I saw them at Kendal Calling 09 when Charlotte was no longer there, they were still amazing, but you could really tell that something was missing. Tis a real shame that she has moved on.
Saw them in Nottingham the other night. As awesome as they were, this song really is missing something Without Charlotte's guitar part.

Yup, saw them live a couple of weeks ago and they really need the second guitar and voice. I don't know why they decided against getting a replacement for Charlotte
They asked to join the band years ago, and then they asked her to leave. For whatever the reason (Ash claim it was to return to their early style), it's kind of a dick move. Then again, Charlotte Hatherley got famous with the band and now has a strong solo career with some awesome songs, so it's turned out pretty well for her.
Best thing thye did getting rid of charlotte. Hot as she is she really aint any good at backing vocals. Saw the three of them last year and there was nothing missing

They aren't. It's just that Charlotte takes over and plays the same line. U can see it more clearly in the Jools Holland version
