This is the best thing i've seen in a long time. Theming is always a pain in the a and i totally welcome your courage to go with a completely new approach here. We are working on our nextGen UI and we switched to primeng because of this. Since the design team wants to use material, we are totally hyped that this will feature a material base this year. Keep on the great work!
Thanks for the updates @cagataycivici! Could you share some of the vision for PrimeNG and what’s planned for v18 and beyond? With Angular becoming more performant and SEO-friendly, it’s an important topic as it opens doors for different styles of projects. Do you see PrimeNG evolving to support this direction? The new templates still seem focused on enterprise, data-driven UIs which is of course great - but I think it's fair to share if there is potential for things like eCommerce websites becoming more prominent in the PrimeNG world in the future?
Thanks a lot for these updates, they are really helpful! Even quick 5min videos or posts in Discord. Clear communication is nearly as important as the results. Any ETA about when the pass through feature for PrimeNG will be there?
@@petroniobonavides3530 I know, I met the team several times in Java conferences. I think they are a proprietary framework so not possible to do PrimeVaadin. We will do PrimeUI web components next which I think can be used with Vaadin.
Documentation and QA work is in progress, my rough estimate is mid October for final. Material preset will also be included along with new FloatLabel and IftaLabel components.

At last… thank you so much PrimeNG RULES
Will PrimeFlex just removed from PrimeNG or entirely discontinued?
Thanks for the updates @cagataycivici!

Thank you! Waiting for primereact update 🤩
The team is obsessively working on it these days :)
me too
This is HUGE, thanks!
Hey, I am using PrimeNg from 2 years now, it's so good, but there's many components that have accessibility issues. We need for real a fix for that :D

Optimised and clean, keep going 🥰🥰🥰
Excelent work!!
Awesome! Will the paid templates have their own unique presets?
No, they'll reuse built-in ones. It would be hard to maintain for us if they have their own.
@@cagataycivici i'm currently using atlantis with v17. does this mean its look and feel will change if i migrate to v18?
@@darkweaverlp I think slightly, current Atlantis theme looks very similar to Aura.
@@cagataycivici thank you so much for your work. looking forward to using v18 in future projects 👍
@@darkweaverlp thanks, btw here is a preview;

You made my day! 😃
Will we be forced to switch to Tailwind CSS with PrimeNG 18 or can we continue to use Primeflex for a while?
awesome!
Hello. Let me make one suggestion... Do you know about Vaadin? Would you consider create a PrimeVaadin?? Do you know Vaadin?

What about PrimeFlex, are planing to replace it with Talwind ?
Hi, does Ultima template will get v18 update?
Yes, all of them. Preview from Vue version, notice the options at configurator with new colors and surfaces -> ultima.primevue.org/
Are you thinking to incorporate Ai to this framework?
@@juanfranciscomosquerYes but not concrete.
when will it be released? thanks

Is the home page demo available for download?
@@portillajoe sure, available on v18 branch.
👍
7:44 Figma plugin?? 😮 So wait, would we not be using Tokens Studio? Or your custom plugin does something else?
The plugin will use the tokens from the Tokens Studio to generate a theme.
