    to blend
    2 inch fresh tumeric
    3 small onions
    1 1/2 inch ginger
    7 cloves garlic
    2 serai
    galangal 1 1/2 inch
    dry chillies 20 ( soaked in hot water)
    to fry eggs
    oil 2 tbsp
    1/2 tsp salt
    tumeric 1/2 tsp
    oil 5 tbsp
    serai 2
    salt 1 tsp
    brown sugar 2 tsp
    asam jawa 1/2 tsp
    1 chicken cube ( optional)
    white pepper powder 1/2 tsp
    1/2 cup thick coconut milk
    daun limau purut 6
    cili padi 5

    Just a quick question,. Can you eat the tumeric leave bits?? I don't think I have eaten this.

      No sister. The leaves is used in cooking for the flavour and smell. Usually we dont eat. But it is still edible. 👌

    Hi ma, 1) Assam Java,normal cooking assam,add like a paste? 2) Kara Coconut milk ,one box apprx 200ml,for half cup can use whole box? 3) Kereseh(fried coconut) after adding coconut milk , add this?

      Hi sis
      1. Yes asam jawa is like a paste. No need to add water and dilute. It will dilute in the gravy itself.
      2. Yes sister santan you can take roughly ...lebih kurang pun ok
      3. If you use kerisik that you buy better let it cook for a while so better add before santan.
