Ted with those glasses and his Ted hat looking like weekend at Bernies😂
😂😂😂
Fr Fr 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Always feel when warn shows up it’s like bring in the closer in the 9th
Ted looking like he came straight from “fear and loathing in Las Vegas”.
Like a boss..
Now this is much more representative of a Louisiana turkey hunt 😂
Fly in ear, sunglasses with Ted hat, that’s what I love about THP never now what you gonna see. Keep it coming fellas, keep it coming.
LoL. That "gentlemen" wasn't listening nor did he hear you calling. That was me. I was closing in on the turkey that was gobbling to the northeast of ya'll. Then he got shot. That was the "distant shot". So I was heading for plan B when the morning coffee kicked in. I stopped right there because I familiar with that spot so decided I would take care of my paper work there. We also saw multiple birds cross the road there on 2 diff occassions. I did hear you hoot though and I did see you guys come out on the road as I was walking back to my truck. Ya'll did a U turn to head back north as I drove by headed south.
I thought that was yall I seen on that Pipeline lol. I'm the guy at 15:28 walking away. Glad yall had more luck than I did. didn't see or hear a gobbler
It was tough!
Figured peason ridge would be good because they control burn. Looks like peason ridge is closed for army drill until late april. What area is this??
Bryce what wma is this?
@@j4m2b y'all done lost yo mind if you think he's gonna tell you where he was. 😂
@@TheBrushcutter
Clear creek! He told me
Glad y’all came down and had some success. Like ya said it can be a tough hunt here, especially on public ground. We have a lot of work to do to get the turkeys headed back in the right direction. Appreciate all y’all do.
Warb's hunt seemed to good to be true for Louisiana public land turkey hunting, this hunt is more like it. We have a lot of hunters in Louisiana, that means a lot of pressure on our deer and turkey. Y'all hunted opening weekend, the next weekend you wouldn't have seen as many birds.
I am glad you guys got at least one here. Since the season got moved back, opening day is tougher than it used to be. But from what I am seeing, it is probably for the best.
They didn’t get one
@@user-sp9hy8tq4j Warb did. I am referring to the group.
Glad y’all enjoyed our state! It was cool to see y’all hunt here
Virginia opened today i thought it was going to be terrible the wind was blowing 15 to 20 the day before and i couldent roost anything and the day of it was still blowing nothing gobbled but with in 5 minutes I had 4 show up and hang up and then about 7 minutes later 2 I never saw or heard were at 20 yards i tried to shoot the lead bird it was so fast I forgot to take the gun off safety and the first bird was at 7 yards and starring at me and the second ran right in front of the bead so I let it eat and dropped it stone dead my first ever opening day bird only sat for like 15 minutes total but man it was just as exciting as watching these videos I was torn up from the floor up with adrenaline
Glad to finally see yall hunt my state Louisiana.
season opens tomorrow in va so excited
From south east Missouri. Public land turkeys are tuff in my area. Hopefully run across you guys this spring.
You guys are awsome hope you guys have a great season!!
I love it man y’all boys always make a good show thanks for all the videos
Season opens tomorrow!!
That was a Bold move Ted and Nick!! And I would have done the same!! Sometimes it Bee’s Like that!! 🦃
please do a north carolina public land turkey and deer
Cool hunts 👍
Yall coming opening morning Kentucky. I am for sure.
I would have poured water in my ear to get that fly out. Those two tracks and pipe lines seem good for spotting birds.
From reading the comments it sounds like lots of other states have moved opening day back a couple weeks. In okla this weekend is youth and monday regular season starts
I don’t remember if you have hunted central Minnesota before but there’s an abundance of Turkeys in my area, Todd,Wadena,Cass county area. Should be easy pickings if you find time for a visit to my home State. Another great hunt as always! Keep um coming & I’ll keep a watching!
Jake has too much room in there! Lol
Love that short-billed cap that Jake is wearing.
It’s for sale on their website
For an animal that is pretty dang stupid, turkeys can be surprisingly hard to hunt. Season opens tomorrow here in Kentucky. Wind and rain all this past week. Supposed to be calm and sunshine tomorrow. Could be amazing.
And how did u get on?
My 12 year old killed his fist one in Louisiana opening day this year of youth then the next weekend he got number 2 in Arkansas on youth hunt both on public land he is hooked now
Those. Pipeline turkeys there on The “Creek” are always traveling
That was a fun couple days...lol 😂😅 Not many birds, and alot of hunters chasing= slim pickens 😂😅😊
The birds are full strut ready in Tennessee
I thought you guys might do an update on Jake's fly in the ear😀 but I didn't see one... I guess it came out 😁✌️
Sitting here watching for my own turkey to come in
Good job
turkeys in the road seldom works out in my many experiences but you have to try
Hey hunting public today was the open day in ohio for youth and I got a huge gobbler his beard is as wide as a huge painting brush and huge spurs
Congrats sport!
Way to go!
anybody else heard the grapps singing after he mentioned turning the thermos cell on
lets go new video
Uhhhh, the south …. Therma cell, even Dec/Jan, skeeters don’t sleep much down here!
The second turkey was either a bearded Karen hen. Or a skinwalker hell bent on eating my Vienna sausages like it did in 2007!
Are you guys coming to michigan this yr? If so you should try north west michigan. Manistee national forest area. Lots of birds up here.
Yup! And whole month of May to chase them in hunt 234 👍🏼
When you coming to KY? Ive struck out on scouting and would like to see how yall end up doing
Put your light up to his ear. The heat or light or a combination of the two may bring it out ! It works with moths , I don't know about flies ?
Warb, Don't you know it can be dangerous to hunt with a partner who's buzzed!! 😂😂😮😮
As a Louisiana native, yall watch out for Timber, Eastern Diamondback and Canebrake Rattlesnakes. As well as Copperheads, looks like yall are in their type of habitat. I would guess yall are in West Central Louisiana. Flat land Pine tree country. Theres some beautiful country on the East side of the state from along the Mississippi River. From Avoyelles Parish to the Arkansas line. A ton of WMAs, NWRs
I don’t know if y’all remember at the Nwtf convention but I was the well I’m sure there was more than one person from Louisiana that talked to y’all but I was telling y’all about the banded and radio collard birds on some public well I missed one at 50 I didn’t completely miss but I didn’t kill him
When you are indicating a Turkey, or any waypoint for that matter, moving in an OnX map, how do you slide the waypoint marker?
U get that fly out Jake?
Arkansas brutha here. Season comes in in two days. I've heard one bird and that was this morning. Sucks ass! 😂
What part of Arkansas?
@@FlatlinerOutfitters Johnson county
How do you guys find out when it’s opening day for deer and turkey in other states
Are yall rolling in to N.C. again this year?
Hopefully the powers at be see this or catch a lot of bad mouthing to hopefully try and improve habitat here. I actually expected y'all to get skunked but Warb is a bad man! Lol
What are those things you guys use to hold the camera? Where do I get one?
How do you guys decide who hunts and who films?
Nick got caught watchin them dirty videos
Y’all coming to Arkansas this season?
which public land was this?
Can someone explain the call that the guys make with their mouths? Are they calling for owls?
It’s how you get a Tom turkey to gobble and give up his location. Can work with crow, coyote as well. Not trying to call owls
@@deangray3727 thanks for the response. I’m tracking with ya now!
Come hunt kaw lake in oklahoma
This is the first THP video that won't allow any more " Likes". It prompts " the resource has been exhausted" .
What's up with that?
Seems like you guys were seeing turkeys..just not gobbling so much like maybe other states?
Do you guys just not own a gobble shaker call?
باررررریک
Ive been interested in turkey hunting Louisiana. Always thought if i hunted way south Louisiana maybe you could get away from the pressure by boat. GA is getting brutal with the turkey hunter population.
More turkey hunters in Louisiana than turkeys. Public land isn’t any joke. Problem is people go ride the roads way before season and call, hoot, and scare the living crap out of the turkeys.
@@highwaterkennels4674 I kinda figured but I thought maybe in the south Louisiana you can find some really hard to get to public land maybe only accessable by boat to get away from the pressure.
You can find plenty of isolated areas in the swamps and marsh. Problem is there are little to no turkeys in those areas due to the consistent flooding.
@@shangobango77 honestly I good with that. Id rather fool with less turkeys that aren't bother than a flood of turkeys that are hunted 24/7. Here in Ga the hunting pressure is unbelievable. We have some swamp in southern Ga that I'm considering scouting next year.
@@joshjohnson3352 The pressure here is intense too on any public ground that holds turkeys. Some places are worse than others. I have hunted a couple of handfuls of States for turkey. Louisiana is the worst for pressure imo. Followed closely by Mississippi. I think it is not a matter of more hunters here, it is more so that the public land hunters we have are all after the few turkeys that are on that ground. It really seems to consolidate pressure. Where the THP crew was is one of two or three WMA’s that are fairing a bit better than the average as far as turkey numbers. Overall the numbers are pitiful compared to 10 years ago and when you go back 20 years the difference is almost unfathomable. With all that said, if you want some help making your Louisiana hunt happen, PM me.
You boys aught to know that Louisiana is the ! mosquito capital of the WORLD !! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
ohhh first
The main thing I want to know about you boys is:……who cooks for you??
Nick 😆
Question? Is Zach no longer with you guys?
He was hunting with keith roy and hayden in sc while these dudes were hunting la
@@joehorton01 I know that. Wanted to know if he was branching out with others
Jake got the weakest hoot outta everybody
I want to learn the screech hoot. Is that a barred owl that does that? I've o ly heard it once in the woods. Heard all other noises many times but only one screech.
I love you guys channel, and i know this is how yall make money, so please dont hate me when i say this. You know, for several years in a row, you guys have pushed the turkey decline thing, but you and all other turkey hunting chennels continue to travel from state to state and kill as many birds as possible. I mean if there is a decline as bad as everyone makes it out to be shouldnt you be promoting to hunt only in your state for a few years? Again, i love you guys channel.
Thanks for the feedback. We don’t kill as many birds as possible. When we go on a trip, most of us buy a non resident hunting license and often some do not even hunt. In Louisiana, Ted purchased a non resident license and hunted 1 day and didn’t kill a turkey. Jake also bought one and hunted 2 days and didn’t kill a turkey. We almost never fill our state bag limit. Greg and Ted each harvested 1 bird in Mississippi earlier this spring where the limit is 3. So we don’t kill as many as possible.
Couldn't agree more with you @ryanharkins9383 but you nailed it. This is how they make money so of course the more places they hunt the more content they can make. The point is not only how many birds they kill but also how many people they are "influencing" to go state to state shooting birds. But hey, gotta make money at any cost.
@@beauv7302 the hunting public guys are not the problem and you all know that, the problem lies within the people who live in the state. If you want something done like better habitat or a lower bag limit then send in a letter
To your representatives and get it fixed. Don’t blame the hunting public guys for doing what they love to do! Good luck to you all
Why are you guys naming states again? Your shows great, don’t need to push guys into everyone’s spot.
Maybe need to watch videos instead of making. Lots of mistakes over and over.
