Nothing better to hear that cold start...cant wait to finish my build...2 years plus since i took the engine out and started the build, waiting on the 600whp+ engine to be installed, dyno and lets go...🕠🕛🕔
Chris my man. I've commented so many times before, dm'd you etc.. but man whenever I see you get this car on the road, it is the first video in my sub box I click. Totally understand how you fell out of love a bit with the STI and you need change, but man.. When you upload, your views go up, people love it, its awesome to watch you drive. Id say 30% of my Subaru knowledge and love for the vehicle has come just from your channel. I think you should really give the STI another go and consider going a.. "bigger" route.. maybe like a BaderBuilt route haha. Just my 2 cents dude. Really love the car and your content and I'd personally love to see you do more with it again.
Love the videos !! Trying to fig out where in NJ u were tooling around . I was from NJ , moved to Maine for 20 yrs , now in Catskills, but in NJ often due to family ( Monmouth and Ocean Co. I’m getting into a 2023 limited . The experience and joy u get every time u drive it is exactly what I’m hoping to achieve. ( been in Subaru’s for 20 years , all legacy’s , and 1 Outback 3.6r) . Life is fun , crazy , UNEXPECTED! … don’t get rid of it . They say if I love something … hold on to it and cherish it , just my opinion. Btw … I’m not experienced in “ Tune’s \ Mods . Are there any good place to have it done professionally. ? Thanks hope to see ya on the GSP !
Hey Chris, are you planning on any possible meet ups before the STI gets the offer you're looking for? I finally got my white 10' STI Hatchback and I think it would be cool to try and meet up for cars and coffee or something like that. I'm in Arlington, VA so not too far and would be a nice cruise.
I usually wait until the warmer weather to have a get together. No plans currently but we will see if I have the car then. Either way, I’m sure I’ll do something.
I love your content ever since you started building this beast car. With all the wheel sets you have done what you think is better. 18x9.5 by +35 or +38?
You’re driving POV videos are awesome. Every time I watch one I go jump into “Shadow” my 2019 STI for about a half hour afterwards. They really pump me up. Thanks again @scoobyfreak86 🏎️😎🔥🔥🔥👍🏻
That was manual driving the way it's meant to be. Shift up through the gears, shift down through the gears. Blip the throttle on every downshift. If you are braking and downshifting, heel-toe. If you are downshifting to do a pull, just blip it. If you do it all the time it becomes second nature. That's how I drive stick... like you. Too bad the camera wasn't recording for a highway pull.
How much are you selling it for ?

Yep, the best part about them is driving it. Surprised the warm weather went that far north. Enjoy.
Love these pov driving videos. Also who knew Scoobyfreak was a core kid? We love some Wage War out here!
Haha always have been 🤘🏻

Rt tuning is the place to go!
omg, 2:10
that rumble and sound, it´s just perfect
i wish morimoto made some lights for the 15-21' WRX/STI.
My friend, do you smell any fuel on your exhaust? Is that normal? Of you have ets extreme exhaust with no resonator and mufflers
I would take mine out of hibernation but a slow leak in one of my tires is ruining my plans....🥴🤧
10 min fix 👍🏻 ua-cam.com/video/Iv49YteeeWE/v-deo.html
@@Autofreakgarage I'll look into it! Thanks man
What’s the trim piece around the si-drive dial? - thanks
It’s a Perrin STI drive knob. Although it’s discontinued.

Whered you get the center shift trim from? looks dope
All the alcantara was done by overland designs. Lots of videos on it all.

I prefer +35. Fits a bit more aggressive which is always what I’m after.
Obviously how low you are, had to roll rear fenders?

🏎️😎🔥🔥🔥👍🏻
What differences do you feel, if any, between a 9.5" wheel and an 8.5" wheel?
Lighter steering wheel input on the 8.5. 9.5+ has a heavier feel in a good way.
what exhaust is this?
