It's incredible. It's so realistic and believable, the desperation to be reunited with his daughter, but tentativeness out of fear of rejection. Such a moving scene.

They both have kids the same age, outcasts, and they seem to have had great chemistry together even if the actors did date each other at one point during Once upon a time off set.

They loved his performance so much as Jefferson that him being too busy to fill the role was the reason the Hatter was left out of the Wonderland spin off. Aw man I love this scene and the way Grace says "You found me I knew you would" is so touching. Great acting, heartfelt emotion, I love where the series is taking off. Hope to see more Jefferson and Grace in the future. Also AWWWWWWW poor Henry he misses Emma.
This is one of my favorite scenes in the show. There's really nothing more beautiful than the love between a father and daughter, and these two portray it beautifully. It's too bad that the Hatter never got more time on the show, but I'd say leaving their story here was better than dragging it out or overdoing it. They didn't need more than this to build a relationship for these two.
