Hey thanks for this video! You were spot on almost on every point mentioned about why it's not seeing much play anymore. I've been playing an Esper version of this deck and seeing some small success (got to Mythic on Arena without exhaustive play). Wondering what other decks are you going to cover in this "Why Nobody Plays" videos if you're planning to make more?
I think it was the rise of single target removal that hits Greasefang with ease. Phoenix and BR mid/vamps dominate the meta and run about 8-12 different cards to disrupt the combo potential. The format has become much more interactive with the hit to mono green. I’m a little surprised that it didn’t get some more meta share with the Karn ban, because of how Karn just incidentally shut down its combo. And Amalia just does a lot of what Greasefang did but more resiliently

Sorin, Walker, Prankster, Fable and Nykthos have to go for Pioneer to thrive imo
