The small wheels and cladding ruins the flow of the design, especially at the rear.
3 cylinder engine with all the vibrations in a 20L+ car. Wonderful idea .
Get the diesel.
Hahaha 😂
Best comment
It will come with a new 1.5L engine, but Tata may offer 1.2 at the base..
This is a Turbo GDI.. just like the one Mahindra uses in its 3XO, Kia in sonet and Hyundai in venue. Expected to be pretty refined, while weighting lighter and packing quite a punch.
Tigor’s big brother after gym!!!
😂💯
Small wheel size steals the butch look Tata was going for
Could have been a beautiful sedan rather than trying too hard to be coupe.
True
Tata's trying to bring best of both worlds into one car, in theory. How the market reacts to this will be interesting
but in the end, just gives more options to the buyer
Renuka Kirpalani review was missed for such a long time, good to see her back 👍
True
Starts of pretty good from the front but the lines dont seamlessly flow into the rear part. The rear seems more like an after market modification.
Nexon ❤ Tigor = Curvv
😂😂😂
The biggest flaw of a coupe car is also its main differentiator: the design. Due to the coupe's sleek design, the rear headroom is limited and compromised.
if it gets a 19-20 inch wheel size, this would be fn sexy. It looks weird as of now
This is based on Gen 2 platform if I'm not wrong. And man what a looker. Proper coupe styled SUV. Beautifully nailed by Tata Motors
Not sure why tata is stick to that Indica's A and B pillar designs still
Citreon basalt coupe design is more appealing than currvv
Agreed
The tail section should have been a bit longer imo. It abruptly ends and seems not quite pleasing to the eyes
With 1.2 lit 3 cyl turbo how can it be a rival to creta can't TATA develop a 4 cylinder engine and it is much needed
They are developing but will be in harrier petrol. Tata ruining their good to be cars due to lack of good engine.
it has both 3 and 4 cylinder engine i guess
Heavier and more complicated. That translates to higher manufacturing cost. Like it or not, mass market cars are tata motor's bread and butter
Bharat me maine abhi tak ish se behtar design nahin dekha hai.
SUV+SEDAN= TATA CURVV
Sedan designs gives the car more beautiful,Classic and rich look for the families who prefer to be on one side thinking people
The bonet portion seems small. Could have been longer a little to look like a luxury car
Looks like harrier and coupe
Design looks eye catching
Looks like a an Urus with Breathing difficulties
Woww Mind Blwoing Design, Tata has did it again, and this New Radical Design against the Traditional design and an welcome Change
I just hope they change the piano black cladding with Matte black in the production version. Other than that , this is the best looking car. Period
ICE version is actually nice!!
@Renuka Kirpalani lovely to see you back, I am not sure who is doing the review when the car is launched, but I would love to see a good old time review, like the one you have done on VW bettle , 2am, bombay drive, bun maska, chai and the stunner of a car-Tata Curvv.
what is the ICE version
TATA is bringing new creative design and innovation with focus on safety and value for money.
why does the tyre s size always looks misplaced or isn't the right size for the design for Tata
Beautiful design and premium look
The blacked out wheel arc cladding gives the vehicle the impression that it's floating in mid air.
Osm, impressive, different... Love this one.... My next vehicle❤❤
Just 1.2 GDI is not enough to compete with competitors, at least they should have given 1.5 GDI in higher version, and 1.2 in lower version and also this 1.2 GDI should be in Nexon and Racer,
Also Diesel should have an AT torque converter.
Absolutely
Saw this in camouflage in Ladakh the team was staying in the same hotel and testing the vehicle where they were testing high altitude plus shooting the commercial. Tried getting more details but they didn’t spill any 😂
Mehhhh !!! Naaahh !! Those big cladding give more uplifted look that's not going with flow ! I wish cladding wasn't there.. and tyre should hav been bigger in this case specially rear or removing cladding or body color cladding will be better option !!
Simply wow... Stunning and captivating... 🚗
Basically a stretched out Nexon with a coupé finish.
How's this different from the model showcased at the auto expos?
Im eagerly waiting to know how the new powertrain works among its competitors. It is better to offer bigger tyre now than later. Curv is going ro knock out the 3XO. Tatas strategy is super.
Proud to own a Indian Brand car
TATA CURRVV...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
safari front look same , what make difference with respect to front design
Isn’t coupe a 2 door car or a 3-door suv?
3 cylinder engine - Massive mash up.
No hate on Tata motors. But this is not a beautiful design IMO. The rear looks too bulky and wheels looks small. Something about this design is disproportionate!
Agree
The design and suv coupe for an SUV well done bt little concern abt ground clearance they could hav done little less or waiting to drive I hope with load it's aerodynamics would be better..
Tata should improve their service
It looks too sedan look, they should have made the back to slope more better to make it look lkke a coupe and they need to increase the wheel size as well, it looks too smalp
Rear quarter view looks like batmobile 😉 imagine driving through traffic 🚦 with Batman theme bgm
Waiting for Nexon CNG when to launch ?
A spacious MPV with the 1.5 TGDI, with minimal features under 20 lacs to rival the ertiga would be nice.
Overdesigned in the front and more in the back. The back could have been a cleaner design
What's with the alloys
Great design!
Sadly some of us don't understand what it is for a country to have its own OEM and trying some good designs for our own.
Groud clearance looks pretty good
As it is same 1.2L turbo, a more than 4m car should get 1.5L 4 cycle engine. DOA
It is not the same engine, but newly developed tgdi engine
The smooth body lines are awesome.
Those who can't afford URUS can buy curv 😂
Yes i will
Nexon with sedan (coupe) type back
From what will the ex-showroom price starts for curvv
Needs wider tyres
If not for the incohesive wheel design, looks nice👌
Here to read the expert design ideas and see if Tata hires them for the next car!!
Coupe means single door cars, that’s what meant in US. But not sure why everyone calling it as Coupe here 💁
Bigger flatter wheels and atleast a 4 cyclinder 1.5L turbo petrol engine would have done justice to the design.
Why diesel is not offered ?
Will it be AWD, RWD or FWD both in ICE and EV versions??
Launched or will be launched
People talking about the designs and features forgetting that the petrol version has a 3-Cylinder engine.
A 3-cylinder engine is the major downside specially for a car having such design.
Whatever happened to the Altroz EV ?
Will tata focus on fit and finish
Premium interior ??
headlights to the bumper ??????
looking good but very bad for owners minar accedent also head lights will damage
Wheel arches, wheel cladding, the massive gap between the wheels & the fenders give it an awkward stance from the sides. Hope the actual car to look better from the left & right profiles.
Tata should avoid glossy plastic in interior especially in stearing wheels even with 3 months of usuage most nexon have full of scratches..
Does it get a tgdi engine...?
No hate, but the front desing is same as many tata cars, which personally i dont like, although back design look superb, however the front look must sharp not round as tata all cars.
Altroz is still the best designed car tata has ever made.
Renuka back with Autocar?
Looks amazing!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What about fit and finish?
Looks like Tata Tiago ko after market wheels laga dia with suspension rise😂
Why can't Tata give glossy paint finishes
Discount on nexon ?
Looks like a mashup of too many angles and varied designs. Needs more simplification, uniformity and REFINEMENT!
Tata should better focus on their service as it is the main sore point for car buyers.
Looks like a sedan on higher ground clearance
Fir those who is talking about proportions...guys it's their camera angle🙄 watch other videos car is gorgeous❤
A very beautifully crafted vehicle by TATA designers, looks modern and eye-catching. The design language is pretty good inspired by Range Rover.
Looks like an extended Nexon .....
I'm going for it❤
Those cladding makes the tyre look even more smaller 😢
when is the diesel coming ...?
What could be the expected price . If anyone has leads please share here !
Design 🔥
People will prefer different car if started above 10 lakh...not of the competition of creta, vitara, seltos, hyryder....could have been more sporty and sleek ....it is like swift and desire, so should be pricing...
Just waiting for mileage (Petrol). I know we can't predict but what's your guess? ~10? 🤔⛽️
I like the design except the front
😂
I was waiting for this car thinking it's going to be miles ahead of Nexon... Not impressed actually
Looks like front and rear is designed by 2 different team who hated each other 😂😂
They shoukd have chosen harrier designed alloys
Why does Tata makes cars with 3 cylinders. 4 cylinders should be minimum. Tata should collaborate with Toyota.
And always talking about safety issues in Tata cars,i dont understand why such a hard plastic like material is placed on the horn portion of the steering.Normally those portions ahould always use soft materials as in case of some accidents there is every possibility that the chest can go and hit the steering column even though airbags are in place.so these are very important things that a professsional car designers should pay attention to.
Excellent 👍 Nice technology 👍
