Tinplay (2008) by Per Andreasson - Preparation and Performance

Swedish rock drummer Per Andreasson (Royal Republic) makes his first foray into percussion ensemble composition with "Tinplay". In this extended video, Per discusses his inspirations for the work, and the players discuss the preparation process, concluding with the full performance. The Yong Siew Yoh Conservatory of Music Percussion Ensemble (Singapore) performs this complex, eclectic, and grooving work in 2021. Directed by Jonathan Fox.
