- Todays video features the facelifted X6 xdrive 40i dressed in Skyscraper Gray on Tacora Red Sensafin priced at $84,880. The X6 is based on the X5 platform with a more sportier and sleek design that makes it have more presence on the road. New for 2024 is a more sharper and aggressive front end with illuminated kidney grille, Idrive 8, and a power bump from 335 to 375. Lets see how it compares to the Mercedes GLE or Cayenne Coupe.

After a couple days of contemplating the build of my new 2024 BMW X6 xDrive 40i between Manhattan Green Metallic and Skyscraper Grey Metallic, I decided to go with Skyscraper Grey Metallic; and, also the 22" M Spoke Black Wheels. My chose a different interior Trim and Upholstery than in the video, but Chris Mac video was very helpful. I very much like the Manhattan Green, but after all, the color is basically GREEN. I'm afraid that I may grown second thoughts with Manhattan Green after a few months of ownership. The Skyscraper is sort-of a sky-blue color--hence its name--which a person just can't go wrong with a light sky-blue color! The 22" Black Wheels also set-off, intensify, the Skyscraper color. Great video!

It is a shame for a $80K car that you have to pay additional $$ to get adaptive cruise control. Although, it is now standard in most vehicles even Toyota Corolla.

I just got my 2024 x6. I’d like to know how to get the SPEED WARNING to go away, every time you put your foot on the gas.
I also want to know how to shut the alarm off when I have my pup in the car, and I need to lock the car while I’m out for a few minutes
The speed warning can be shut off under driver assistant settings. The alarm for occupant in vehicle for your dog should also be under that menu a lot of cars force it on with no deactivation.
I ordered one will be mine in 2 month :)) i Hope the Sound is good on the 40i, unfortunately i dont have the optional sport exhaust :((

BMW x5 and x6 had wireless Apple and android since atleast 2020 on the i drive 7. Just fyi!
Yes it just seems smoother and faster with the idrive 8. I tried it in the 7 before it was slower and had extra steps
How are the 22 inch wheels? Are they comfortable? I went with the 20 inches because I thought they were more comfortable
The 22 inch wheels weren’t too bad I honestly thought that they would make the ride more harsh.
