  • Presenting this moody 1960's Stella that we had the privilege of working on this month. We're happy this one ended up safe and sound in the hands of a producer in the Netherlands! This one is unique because of its inline tuners, which we upgraded and reliced ourselves. Because we are all about the details here, we ended up matching the wood on the top of the pickup so that it matched better with the overall vibe of the guitar. As usual, our rubber bridge design features a premium piece of ebony and a soft rubber cylinder that gives a warm, balanced, and muted sound. This guitar also features our own hand-wired tone circuit with a variable bass cut (3 different high pass filters) and a volume control. Both the tone and volume controls are independently bypass-able for maximum tonal and output options. Our custom-made mini-humbucker pickup is specifically designed for these rubber-bridge guitars. We feel this is very important to the sound because the rubber alters the vibration of the string and therefore, the magnetic field created by the string is different than on a normal guitar. This one had a great, full low end that really made it feel like a "Mood Guitar".
