- After a frosty start to the day we see Brush Type 4 47802 Piloting LMS 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier with eleven on and 47826 on the rear from just below Shap Summit with the stock move from Carnforth Steamtown to Joppa Straight for the upcoming Polar Express Season which will be running out of Edinburgh Waverley, hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.
Lovely stuff nige nice day for it 😊
Very good Nige, cold making the exhaust hang in the air.
Nice Footage there Nige, shame there a diesel on the front of 45407 again
A definite 'if only ' there Nigel. Would have been great to see the Five solo in such conditions. Good filming anyway
'Hot off the press' as my phone lit up "Nige757".
As you know only too well 'buzz boxes' don't do a thing for me - but I have to comment on your superb camera work Nige... If only for the smoke screen through the frosty mist. No doubt an easy run for the 'Black un's' crew.
Thanks for being there once again Nige.👍
@@Geo46115 Many thanks George, it would have been much better if the ‘Black un’ was leading but it’s a stock move so it’s understandable and with a nice crisp frost I expected there should be some decent exhaust even it being piloted so worth the trek, my pleasure George, kind regards nige👍
Cracking morning Nige. Was it warmer up there? Or maybe not as cold.
Outstanding Nige , certainly the best place to be in those conditions 🥶Doesn’t get any better than this unless the five had been leading 👍
Thanks Steve, it was even better when I first arrived with the sun out and a hard frost as well as the lower end of the bank like a soup of mist, well worth the trek in the end, cheers 👍
@@nige7577Always good to try a different shot I’d say 😊
Very nice, got that at Lockerbie, i was surprised to see two class 47s on the move!
@@JimmysTransportMarvels Thanks Jimmy, the extra one must be needed for shunting for something, cheers 👍
